25.01.2022 To my regular Yogis’ I thought I would pass this on from Highland Crystals... we share the Studio building. We often did/do ‘goat’ yoga accompanied by Peaches the very friendly goat. She’s a grand old lady.... we had forgotten that she was ageing. She has passed away. ... We will miss her very vocal contributions to our Yoga & Mediations .

23.01.2022 All ready for my Yin Yoga 3 day Zoom teacher training workshop with Vanessa Being Yoga. Can’t wait

21.01.2022 This philosophy has got me through some uncertain times over the years.....takes practice, but it is powerful.... Author unknown.

20.01.2022 Hi All Just thought this image of the Eight Limbs of Yoga might be useful. We’ve spent the last 8 weeks concentrating on each of these each week in our sessions. It’s always helpful to have another visual. More info in the coming days on signing up to the PWY Online Yoga & Meditation to keep your home practice moving along ..... or check it out on the website..... www.peacefulwarrioryoga.com.au... 18.01.2022 Hi All I have returned from re-charging at a nurturing Yoga Retreat with Being Yoga. Some peaceful pics below. Helped me unravel my mind & focus on what going forward looks like for me. Much gratefulness to the gorgeous Yoginis’ I shared this Retreat with.... This week in the Studio we look at the 6th Limb of Yoga - Dharana - ‘Concentration’ on a Focus point. Join us for a Focus movement Yoga sequence, followed by a matching guided relaxation/meditation. Hope to see you there Namaste Lynne

17.01.2022 Hi All I spent the morning with a special, soulful group of Yogis’ for our end of year break up at The Soul Nook Collective at Marburg. What a beautiful space to relax together. A shout out Taryn & her staff.... everything was perfect - thank you. It was the start of some very much needed rain as well So to all who follow PWY - either at the Studio, Online or through Facebook - I wish you a restful Festive Season (after the madness settles). The physical space Studio will ...tentatively be open again mid-February, while I take time to let this crazy year settle, and hopefully time to allow more relaxation of the remaining restrictions. In the meantime......more info on the PWY Online Yoga & Meditation Library to follow in the next few days to keep your home practice moving along . Namaste Lynne

16.01.2022 Hi All - **Latest Newsletter** New Year Thoughts How are you feeling about the New Year?... Perhaps you ended last year with not much charge left in your battery - physical, mental or both? It was a tough year for almost everyone, for a variety of reasons. For me, it was mental fatigue, rather than physical. So I have spent the last 2 or 3 weeks taking a break from those things that drained my mental battery. And you know what - I think it has helped. I might not be ready yet to venture into full steam ahead, but I feel a little more rested, a little calmer, a little less unraveled. What were/are the things that have been draining your battery - physically, mentally or both? Perhaps have a little think, and connect with that information. You don't need to fix it all at once. But sometimes just that acknowledgment is enough to help you move forward... This is how I've started moving forward a little at a time towards 2021, you will find your own plan that's just for you:- 1. Gently finding my regular Home Yoga Practice again. It was hit & miss during the busy-ness of the season, but just 20 mins/day has helped to re-focus and plant a seed.....my word (seed) for this week is 'gratefulness'. It's easy to feel ungrateful when you're mentally drained. 2. Just taking my time each day if it's at all possible. If a task takes a few days, so be it. 3. Acknowledge that I fell off the wagon with unhealthy eating for a week or two, & now moving slowly back to the food that I know makes me feel well. No big hurry, but getting there. 4. Taking time to make decisions that need attention - not rushing into them. Let the ideas and thoughts marinate for a while. Allow things to fall into place naturally. Maybe your plan requires a whole other approach....that's all good, it's yours. For those who have a membership to the Online Yoga & Meditation, this week's featured practice is 'Re-emergence' & can be found in the 50 min section of the Library. I have also put a little post up in the Members Forum about it. Sign up for the free the members community or Online Yoga & Meditation Library membership here - https://www.peacefulwarrioryoga.com.au Take care & stay well. Namaste Lynne

12.01.2022 Just sharing for Highland Crystals..... some beautiful, newly-handcrafted crystal necklaces up in display at the Studio. These are one of my fav gifts to give - so unique & made with Kate’s very own gentle, talented hands (and energy).

12.01.2022 Hi All Thought I’d share this article that I found while putting the finishing touches to our Yin Yoga practice for this week.... Those of you who share Yoga with me regularly know that the style of Yoga we practice often changes each week. In fact.... I often mix the styles in one class. ... Now, I don’t know if this is strictly Yoga appropriate, but I do know that this how I can offer my teaching authentically. So I found this article refreshing & re-assuring ...... See you for Yin Yoga this week - a perfect Yoga style for practising Pratyahara - the 5th Limb of Yoga - sensory withdrawal Namaste Lynne

08.01.2022 Hi All Just got my digital version of the latest Australian Yoga Journal.... and couldn’t go past this article. We share Namaste (and it’s literal English meaning) at the end of all of our classes at the Studio. Here’s a little refresher as to why we do it.... Namaste

05.01.2022 Hi All... I finally feel like I’ve got a bit of a handle on the proceedings going forward this festive season. I’ve allowed myself time to take a breath and get ready for the next few weeks.... Next week in the Studio we explore the 8th (& final) Limb of Yoga - Samadhi - Bliss & Connection.... A wonderful way to demonstrate this is through Restorative Yoga - a place for release and reflection. Still some places remaining.....Tues & Thurs evenings & Wednesday morning. Also, a gentle reminder that PWY Christmas break up is Friday 11th December at The Soul Nook Collective at Queen St, Marburg under the beautiful old trees in the Church yard. RSVP by Monday 7th December. All welcome with RSVP. Bookings & Details for both of these events @ www.momoyoga.com/pwy . Just go to the dates of the sessions or break up. Hope to see you next week. 05.01.2022 Mmmm...... great idea for a unique someone .......

03.01.2022 Hi All It seems to me that it’s been a noisy year..... So much starting & stopping, to-ing & fro-ing, agreeing & disagreeing, enforced togetherness & enforced isolation..... too much change to keep track of easily.... Here, where we live, we are a few of the fortunate ones on this Earth. We have lived this year in relative comfort & freedom when compared to the rest of the world. Nevertheless, the ‘noise’ has reached us. I find that I’m just ‘done’ for now... and I find that a lot of people I speak to feel the same way. If it’s possible for you right now, let the year settle and Let It Be in whatever form that takes for you. So as we move toward that gentle, limbo time between Christmas & the New Year (for some of us)..... let the noise settle, maybe reset a little to find a space for the quiet mind I trust you will find some quality time with your special ones and that 2021 will be all that you are hoping for. For those that would like stay connected within the PWY Community over the break, stay updated, or even try some Online Yoga & Meditation, head to the website to join the community - www.peacefulwarrioryoga.com.au Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Namaste Lynne Watts
