Thats when she decided to join founder Helen Marshall and her team of Primalistas in creating a wide range of grain-free alternatives to the food we love; helping to make diet changes more sustainable, doable and FUN. And Tania does this all from the comfort of her own home! I have three childr...en at school and at that point my husband was travelling regularly for work meaning I was flying solo for a few weeks at a time. This local WA-owned and operated bizness primarily operates out of Zacc and Sharons family home in Roleystone, but the pair travel the state from as far south as Northcliff Denmark area to as far north as Geraldton, as... they move their girls around. Zeez Beez do most of the extracting with minimal tools and use no heat to keep the honey as raw as it was made - straight from the hive! Sharon: We love what we do. Urban Forager stock concentrates are beautifully simple. Theres no trickery, just real ingredients bursting with flavour & nutrients. Each jar... contains 100% real ingredients: Vegetables, meat (chicken & beef stocks), herbs, spices, apple cider vinegar, olive oil and lake salt. Simple. Real. Nutritious. Delicious. Urban Forager are extremely passionate about sustainability, and work hard to reduce waste in all aspects of their business. We cut our packing tape, which is not recyclable, into 20cm strips before sending it to reminda for use by schools and artists; we use the backing tape from our labels (also not recyclable) as packing material when we ship goods; we make our own enormous washable bags so we can use them instead of plastic bags to keep our veg fresh in the fridge; we reuse our cartons (we have special stickers designed so we can rewrite the variety and best before dates); we compost our scraps on site as well as at the Randwick Stables Community garden (they also get our excess cardboard) which is just around the corner. Theres absolutely no nasties in our stock pastes and they make a whopping 10l of stock, making them cheaper and much better environmentally than cartons or pouches - and we think they also taste better! Peaches have been supporting us almost since the beginning when we only did farmers markets and had a handful of stockists. They are definitely one of our favourites as they are just so supportive of local food businesses, super lovely and really professional to deal with, making everything just so easy.
