25.01.2022 - RAINBOW - There wasnt a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow when I reached the top but.... I wouldnt want anything given to me anyways. Everything is worth so much more when you have to work hard for it.. with times very trying at the moment and each day changing I strongly believe the ones who are willing to work harder then the person next to them, will be the person who comes out closer to their own goals then they might have been prior to this whole covid peri...od. 21.01.2022 RUOK Man its been a big few weeks and man am I feeling blessed.. with everything going on in the world and so many people being affected Ive been fortunate enough to be involved in a program thats the biggest of my career. But let that be for another post. Right now, its safe to say that our focus is purely on the covid-19 virus and rightly so but lets not forget about other illnesses and diagnosis in our community. ... Depression, anxiety, suicide and mental health are all their own forms of cocos-19 and many go un-diagnosed daily. So much so that at times even a phone call seems too hard. So in saying that Im no celebrity with a million followers and a tone of reach however I am human and I am someone who over the last few years has put their hand up to be the shoulder to cry on, the ears to listen and the hand to hold through all types of issues. So even though I cant do events like in this picture and help people in person, I hope that the programs Im involved in, and my online presence can help as many people daily as it can. 20.01.2022 - MENTORING - There’s just something about mentoring trainers to be successful and master their own specialties that makes me tick The fitness industry is a cut throat business with the average lifespan of a trainer now just 4-6months! Crazy right? (I believe it’s less atm)... I’ve been blessed to be able to mentor numerous groups trainers this year alone and what has that taught me? 20.01.2022 - MY WHY - With my home gym @afkawana and all Anytimes in Qld officially opening its doors again this Friday it got me thinking. Thinking about why this last period for me was a challenging one but most certainly a rewarding one. I firmly believe that fitness community gives people hope, a reason to belong, faith in humanity but most of all throughout tough time we come together to make sure we are all ok and make it through to the other side.... Now the doors may have been shut, but our gym most certainly wasnt. Over the past 10 weeks Ive watched our gym grow into a even tighter family one that never leaves a family member behind. Im soo pumped to be back in the space I love so much come Friday but Im even more excited to be surrounded by those who love it just as much as me See more

19.01.2022 - WHO AM I? - Man I love being someone who can impact another life just by introducing them to health & fitness or by showing someone that they can do anything they set out to achieve. I always get asked whats the best thing about being a trainer or why did I become a trainer? Simple... to show people and to show myself that when you align your vision with someone on the same path as you, together you will always win.... Life for me is about winning, get knocked down 9 times but stand back up 10. 16.01.2022 - STRUCTURE - For me the gym had always been my safety net, the structure I had in my day and the routine I was comfortable with. With gyms being closed for nearly 8 weeks now, Ive learnt to adapt my training, adapting my coaching and most of all kept my routine.... With the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter Im excited for the future but to be honest, there wasnt any bad that came from this period in our lives. Being faced so much change, uncertainty and endless opportunities in recent times, this period has really forced trainers all around the world to step up and adapt or get left behind. But if I didnt adapt to this new world of training, or I didnt step it up to another notch that most certainly doesnt mean I still cant help as many people as I was before.... Being a personal trainer is a honour and a privilege, one I dont take lightly and one that I will forever be grateful for. 07.01.2022 MEMBER MOTIVATION MONDAY Today we're celebrating Kali Lovell !!! Kali has been training with Chris, losing 6kg in the last AF Challenge (which she is doing ag...ain!), is now eating much better and training on a regular basis at the club. Kali's effort on the Sled challenge recently was amazing, pushing 290kg (360% of her body weight)!!!! Why did you join: I was unhappy with my health and fitness and wanted to improve both.
