12.01.2022 Sometimes, rogue hens need a gentle 'talking-to'.... This one - despite clipped wings - climbs up the fence of the chookyard, drops onto the ground and makes a beeline for the veggie bed. She's also found her own spot for laying eggs - right by the side of our water filter! The question is: Will she listen?!

08.01.2022 Dear friends of Peak Organics, At the moment the Peak Organics Saturday stall is not operating. However we are currently offering customers who have made enquiries about the stall, the possibility of placing an order every second week/each fortnight for fruit and veggies.... These include items from the garden at Peak Organics as well a range of fruit and veg that are purchased through our organic wholesaler. The range is similar to what is usually available on the stall. While this approach is under trial, we offer items that have a reasonable shelf life such as potatoes, onions, apples, oranges and so on, while the seasonal greens, salad mixes and snow peas are picked from our garden. If you would like to consider placing an order, a list of what will be available can be emailed to you at the beginning of the selected fortnightly week when the order is placed. The produce is received on a Thursday. So on that Thursday, and the following Saturday and Tuesday, we are selling this produce between 10.30am and 2.30pm at the Peak Organics farm at Ivorys Rock Conference Centre, 310 Mt Flinders Road, Peak Crossing. Cash and eftpos are both welcome. The next order will be arranged in the week that includes Thursday 23rd July. On Monday 20th July people will be informed of the main items to be ordered by Peak Organics from the wholesaler. This is a guide to what is available that week, and a reminder to put in an order which needs to be sent off before 6pm Tuesday 21st July. On Wednesday (22nd) afternoon a list of the prices will be sent out to customers. Ivorys Rock and Peak Organics carefully follow best practice in regards to Covid 19. Customers will therefore need to visit the reception area (RHS of Mt Flinders Rd, opposite the main entrance to the conference centre) to obtain a pass that permits access at the boom gate. After shopping and leaving the property, customers are requested to return the entry pass to the reception area. We hope you might like to consider this way of obtaining your nutrient rich food. If you are interested, send us a message and we'll make arrangements for purchase. They are perfect for a delicious lime marmalade, or to preserve/bottle as salted limes etc.
