13.01.2022 Massive day for day 2 of the @gkendurance development squad camp- starting with a long ride and run off the bike in the rain, followed by a messy bike maintenan...ce session and tacos!! We enjoyed a mental strength zoom session with Sally Barker, a brisk swim in the ocean, followed by a brilliant outing to archery tag and topped off with dinner at Albies and then home for cake. 10.01.2022 No, It's not mine. A client with driving anxiety, who was driven to her appointment last week by her husband, turned up to her appointment this week in a car s...imilar to this. Yes, she bounced out of the driver seat with the biggest smile on her face. She can now get back to doing the things she wants to do without relying on others to drive her around.

07.01.2022 Performance anxiety really sucks. When I think back to all the lost opportunities in my life because I just couldn't get the words out to ask a question, speak up when I knew I had something valuable to say, or put myself out there to achieve a big audacious goal I had set it saddens me that I didn't get help years ago. I remember a time at university when I had to stand in front of my peers and give a presentation. My heart was beating so fast and loud that I thought it ...was going to jump out of my chest. I was soaked through with sweat. I could barely breathe. And, of the words that I did manage to get out not many of them made sense. I just wanted to get out of there as soon as I could. When it was over I grabbed my things and ran out. Unfortunately, many athletes also suffer from performance anxiety and it has the potential to ruin careers. Actually, when I was working as a television reporter, anxiety about going to work and performance anxiety became so bad I had to walk away from my career. Thankfully, I no longer suffer performance anxiety due to some powerful therapy that I underwent, which sparked my change of career and set my path to training as a clinical hypnotherapist, sports hypnotist, and peak performance mindset coach. So, I have been able to turn what was an awful and often crippling condition into something wonderful, so now I can help athletes eliminate performance anxiety and self-doubt so they can compete with mental toughness and confidence. Mental training is like going to an 'inner gym' within your mind, which builds and strengthens your mental muscle. . . So it makes sense, doesn't it, that embracing daily mental training will prepare you for all the possibilities that come your way and also helps you cope positively with the unexpected, rather than becoming 'psyched out'. . . 02.01.2022 Forgiveness - Can it help you finally achieve your goals Having all the strategies in the world won't be enough if you are living with guilt, resentment, blame, or regret because you will struggle to successfully transform yourself and your life unless you give yourself permission to let the go of the past and forgive. You see, when you're consumed by these negative emotions they are stored in the mind and body, and in time they will manifest negatively and show up as healt...h, career, and relationship challenges. So, ask yourself, is there someone or something I need to forgive It could be a family member, a friend, an ex-partner, a teammate, a coach, or even yourself. Forgiveness doesn't mean you're okay with what was done, it simply means you're choosing to no longer suffer from the attached negative thoughts and feelings that impact your life. Remember, forgiveness is not for others to feel better. It's for YOU to feel better. The person never needs to know you have forgiven them. The most important thing here is for you to forgive and release any emotional attachments. You know it's time to let go. It doesn't matter how you do it, you just have to release it. Write a letter and then burn it ... release it into the ocean at sunset ... Or, send me a PM and I'll help you. Get all that resentment out until you feel a sense of peace, calm, and weightlessness. Believe me - just like de-cluttering your home allows for new energy, so does forgiveness. It's like a deep inner de-clutter that clears the way for new opportunities. 02.01.2022 Today, a client phoned in the best reason for rescheduling an appointment. He woke up poorly after spending the weekend catchup with and socialising with frien...ds, who he had been too anxious to see or even speak to for the best part of two-years. This young chap now has such a bright vision for his future and oh boy has he jumped right back in and isn't looking back. And, to think that at the start of his first session he said he was sceptical about whether hypnosis would work for him. Hypnosis isn't magic but the results can be magical.
