24.01.2022 I’m sad to say that I am totally guilty of this at times. But after reading this I am going to put my phone away while my children are around, so I can be present and respond to them appropriately. Let’s make our children more important than the (often useless) information we scroll through on our phones. Who’s with me?! * I should note that both my children are being beautifully looked after right now by their daycare mum, while I am at work! I understand the potential iron...y of reading this article and writing this post if they were in my care. https://www.theatlantic.com//the-dangers-of-distra/561752/

20.01.2022 Hello my lovelies! First, thank you. Thank you to all my clients for your patience while I was on maternity leave. I gave birth to a beautiful healthy boy in November and have loved spending the last few months with him everyday, but it is time now to return back to work, and I’m looking forward to seeing you again, if you need.... Should you wish to return to see me (hopefully you’re doing so well you don’t need me!) please go to your GP for a new referral, and then message, call or email me to let me know you’d like an appointment. I am only working Thursdays and my first two weeks are fully booked so be quick to get in touch. If you have any questions, you can privately message this page or text me on 0428 296 396. - Marni

18.01.2022 I love this. Keeping connected is so important especially when things are tough.

16.01.2022 What a beautiful analogy. We are all managing through our own personal struggles, while a part of the bigger challenge going on at the moment. Kindness makes the world go around. Spread a little!

16.01.2022 Hello Everyone, I thought it was important to address the current situation that the world finds itself in due to COVID-19. I want to validate any anxiety or worry you may have about the current situation and what it might mean for your health, the health of your family, and your financial situation. It is normal when things are uncertain to feel a degree of anxiety. If you feel your anxiety is getting in the way of you being able to go about your daily tasks, please go to yo...Continue reading

16.01.2022 Some great information about the fires and your mental health.

15.01.2022 Today we honour all the wonderful mums out there! I see you. I see you sacrificing for your children, worrying about their wellbeing, holding their distress and disappointments, carrying the invisible mental load, creating memories, and encouraging them to be the best they can be. Thank you for all you do. I’m also sending love and strength to all the step mums, mums struggling for another bub, women who desperately long to be mums but can’t, dads who are mum as well, men who have lost the mother of their children, mothers who have lost children, and all of those especially missing their own mums today. I see you too. You are worthy. You are loved. You are good enough, even with the pain you may hold. Be kind to yourselves today.

04.01.2022 I love this message. As a female athlete, I struggled for a long time with my body... my legs were too big and my butt was too round. One day I realized that it was those legs that got me to live on the other side of the world. Those legs carried me on adventures of travel. Those legs kept me up when I thought I would fall. Without my strong body, I would never have had the wonderful experiences I had, and met the people I met. I wouldn’t have the education I have and theref...ore be able to help others the way I try to do. It is this strong body that carried two children into the world. Don’t get me wrong, I still curse my thighs at times (usually when I can’t fit into a pair of pants!) but I try and thank them more than I curse them. I challenge you to think about your body in a way that shows it gratitude, for all the wonderful things it can do - because you and your body are amazing!

04.01.2022 Powerful and practical. This article beautifully describes what, I believe, many are feeling at this challenging time, and it gives hope that we will survive and maybe even thrive once’s it’s all over. https://hbr.org/20//that-discomfort-youre-feeling-is-grief

04.01.2022 I love working with NIAS! These young athletes are awesome and the coaches and staff at NIAS are dedicated and passionate. Happy to deliver some mental skills to help these kids to keep working on their development while they can’t physically connect to train.
