15.01.2022 You might recall that last year, Peanut Gallery's very own director Fruzsi had the privilege and honor of curating the SALA exhibition at Adelaide City Libraries. The exhibition 'Already Home' brought together fifteen Australian-born and migrant artists, as well as creatives from within Adelaide's LGBTIQ, disability and multilingual communities,showcasing a kaleidoscope of visual responses to the question of what it is to be Australian. The exhibition broke visitation and sa...les records, and served as a compelling reminder of the beauty in unity and the power of diversity, especially at trying times such as the ones we are currently experiencing. The awesome City of Adelaide is once again offering this brilliant opportunity, currently "seeking to engage an emerging Curator to curate, coordinate and manage the delivery of the South Australian Living Artist (SALA) Exhibition to be staged across City Library spaces in August 2020. This represents an opportunity for contemporary art and unconventional curation to engage with a broad local, national and international audience from an unconventional, ‘beyond the white cube’ locus." Applications are due 9am on 30th of March, and we encourage all of our emerging curator friends to enter. Good luck!
