21.01.2022 Dear Pearlians, Sorry it's been a long between post. Been settling into our new store and it's been great, we hope you all love it as much as we do. We'll be opening tomorrow (Monday 27/2/19) from 9-4pm. I'll try to keep this post short and will be making a major announcement in our next post. So stay tune. 18.01.2022 Dear Pearlians, WE ARE MOVING! But don't worry, it'll only be 5 meters away. If you think it's too far away we'll organise Shuttle Trolleys to transport you. The new premise will be TWICE as big as our current location so there's plenty of room to wriggle. We're hoping to complete it by end of September/beginning of October. In the next couple of weeks we'll be expecting a huge influx of staff trialling to prepare for the opening of our new shop. If... you do happened to experience an unsatisfactory service we apologise and ask for a feedback on our messenger. We'll also be running a special promotion to our exclusive customers that likes our Facebook page during the opening weeks, so stay tuned. If you've been to our store in the last couple of weeks you've probably seen we have a jar to fine anyone that speaks Vietnamese in my store, there are exceptions to this rule and I myself won't be above the law. The fines are directed at my staff and all the money raised will be for charity at the church poor box. The harshness of the fines depends on your heirachy in the store, I myself will be fine $5, managers $2, supporting staff $1, and if we ever catch customers speaking Vietnamese then it's $10. So far there's $30 in the jar within the first day- courtesy of me. The fines that we've put in place is to deter my staff from speaking their native language, we're not against my staff from talking to customers, we're just trying to avoid them from socializing in front of customers. This is a win win situation for everyone, my staff will improve their English, the charity receives money from us, less customer complaints and more importantly I'll be losing weight- all my lunch money is in the Fine jar. Sorry for this extremely long post as there's so many important news to announce. As you can see we're extremely excited and can't contain ourselves. This move will definitely make us or break us. 18.01.2022 Dear Pearlians, As you all heard from our government we'll be closing as of tomorrow night. It is my utmost sadness to announce that we'll cease trading after tomorrow night. Because of this sudden news we'll be trading till late probably later than usual Thursday night depending on the demand. We've been operating in the last 2 weeks with isolation measures in place so please be patient you will all be served. There'll be late night enterta...inment if you wish to come after hours. I'll make sure you'll all be entertained through this hardship. We don't know when we'll be back, until this pandemic is over or until the government allows us. I'll make an announcement when this happens. All the events that's happened in the last 3 months especially with the shortage of toilet paper was because one person sneezed and everyone S%#t themselves. 17.01.2022 WE'RE BAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKK! BIGGER AND BETTER. We'll be open for trading tomorrow morning Monday 21/10. Sorry for the delay as we had to overcome some obstacles. We've been working tirelessly in the last 3 to 4 weeks, so we hope it was worth the wait. For those who waited thank you, and for those that need it to be done elsewhere we hope you still come back to us. For the first 2 weeks we'll be having an opening special of 10% discount on all o...ur services but for all of you who likes our Facebook page will get an extra 10% Off. So that's 20% off to all who likes our Facebook page. YAY!! We'll be anticipating a very busy period in the next 2 weeks so please be a little bit patient with us. There is however one drawback, we'll be increasing our prices on most of our services. It's something that we've avoided for the last 5 years but it's justifiable. 15.01.2022 Dear Pearlians, WE'RE. BAAAAAAAACCKK!! AGAIN. My goodness, can't believe we had to close twice in 6 months. Did you miss us, well we certainly miss you and can't wait to see you all again. We'll be reopening Monday 1/6/2020, we haven't had the chance to announce this great news and we've received hundreds of appointments. We're happy to book you in but expect long delays. We like to apologise in advance if you do experience agonisingly long wait. In ...the next few weeks we'll be adhering to the social distance and limiting to 10 patrons. Our salon is more than capable of catering this amount even with social distancing regulation in place, so when the restrictions lifts again we'll be able to take more clients in. There'll be hand sanitisers provided and my staff have always been thoroughly cleaning tables and chairs even before this pandemic and will continue to do so more frequently. We had to close for 2 months because of lockdown and when we reopened, it was because of our loyal customers and their ongoing support and referrals that we were able to rise above adversity. We'll be removing the 'booking' system from our Facebook page as the system fails to recognise that we have multiple staff, so as soon as someone books a time slot it ...doesn't allow anyone else to book at the same time. We are still without an eyelash technician at the moment from the C19 lockdown. They've had too much time on their hand and didn't know how to spend it. It took us almost 2 years to outgrow our last salon, and by the rate that we're progressing it shouldn't be too long before we'll outgrow our new salon and that's due to not only your ongoing support but your referrals which we are extremely grateful for.
