23.01.2022 Coach Jada here with a challenge for you all. I want to see some amazing, home made beam routines. If you dont have a training beam at home you could find a line on the floor (just like we do at gym when there arent enough beams to go around). Boys can join in too. 23.01.2022 This week we said goodbye to Maeva . She was a gymnast at PCGC for many years and has developed into a wonderful coach and leader in our club. Maeva is off for a 6 month adventure to Switzerland and then will be going to university. We wish you all the best! Thank you for being apart of the PCGC family, you will be missed!

21.01.2022 While restrictions are beginning to ease, PCGC is still taking precautions to ensure the health and safety of staff and gymnasts. We are encouraging everybody to use hand sanitizer and we are wiping down our equipment and seating areas frequently during classes. Until further notice, access to the gym is restricted to staff and gymnasts only. Parents are only enter the gym to assist with pack up. 18.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to Lily Handscombe. Lily has been a member of our club for 15 years! She started gymnastics at 4 years old and transitioned into being an amazing coach. We love Lily, she is a valued member of the Pearl Coast Gymnastics Family. We are going to miss you! Thanks for the all that you’ve done for PCGC. We wish you all the best with your nursing studies. Fortunately the gymnastics world hasn’t lost Lily, as she has already secured a role coaching in Perth and will continuing with her judging. Hopefully we will see you back in Broome in the near future!

17.01.2022 Life is slowly returning back to some form of normality, unfortunately gymnastics is still missing from that normal routine. Due to government restrictions PCGC is unable to gain access the gymnasium, as currently Education Department facilities cannot be hired to outside groups. As the restrictions lift throughout the state, hopefully so will these rules. In the mean time keep that strength and flex up. We will keep you up to date if anything changes. We cant wait to see you all again soon!

14.01.2022 Urgent Post! We are unable to run classes tomorrow as BSHS needs to use the gym for an unplanned, but very important event. All families of gymnasts who train on Tuesdays have been emailed and sent a follow up text but our SMS software keeps failing (3 attempts, 6 sent, 189 failed ). Please dont send your kids to gym tomorrow and please tag your mates. Thank you!

14.01.2022 KinderGym families please note: To comply with the Federal Governments ban on non-essential indoor gatherings of 100 people or more we have now implemented a No Spectator policy. Until further notice our access to our gym will be restricted to staff and gymnasts only. KinderGym gymnasts are to be accompanied by ONE PARENT/CARER ONLY. Spectators, including siblings, will not be allowed to enter the gym. We will not be allowing gymnasts/parents into the gym before 8:20am on S...aturday mornings so dont come too early as it will be hot waiting outside. 11.01.2022 IMPORTANT: PCGC is still operating as usual. This decision has been made based on a number of factors including advice from Gymnastics Western Australia (GWA). Procedures have been put in place to help protect gymnasts and coaches and these will be shared in the coming days. Updates from GWA will be provided each Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please keep an eye out for more information tomorrow.

10.01.2022 Friendly reminder... All GA Affiliations are now due. Gymnasts must be registered with Gymnastics Australia or they will not be covered by insurance. We are unable to register gymnasts until we receive affiliation fees Term fees are due today (excluding gymnasts who started late in the term). A minimum of 60% of all term fees owing must be paid by today with regular payments towards the balance owing for the remainder of the term . Thank you very much to everybody who has already paid. If you have paid in the last few days the auto-reminders from MYOB will stop once we process your payment.

I would like to thank our wonderful PCGC families for supporting us this term. We will be back when we are allowed to. In the mean time keep an eye out for some at home training ideas which will be posted on this page. I would like to give a shout out to our amazing coaches and setup team for being so willing to setup and do whatever was needed to stay open. This meant a lot of cleaning! THANK YOU! Gymnasts will not be allowed into the gym until class time and will need to be brought in by a coach. Dont arrive too early for class as it will be hot outside. Remember your water bottle/s as drinking from the water fountain is strongly discouraged.

When entering the gym everyone is required to apply hand sanitiser and people 16 years and over must scan the Safe WA barcode or sign the register which will be available at the side door. A coach will be manning the door at the beginning of class to ensure this occurs.

02.01.2022 Tonight we had our AGM. We are pleased to announce that we had a great turn out and have formed a full a committee. We are very excited about the year ahead! Committee is pictured below (minus a few). Thank you to our outgoing committee members; Carmen Standring (8 years on the committee), Angela Robinson and Chelsea Cook. Your time and effort has been invaluable.
