25.01.2022 Will never forget first meeting Ben back in the day. Aside from his obvious drone photography talent, I was struck by his back story and overall humility. Great to see his growth over the years. Block out some time and give this a watch.

23.01.2022 Some wisdom on leadership from former Almondco chairman, Simon Lane, who vacated the position after almost eight years in March. Full story coming soon.

22.01.2022 Check out that honour board haha.

19.01.2022 Working on some more town history podiums for Balaklava today and came across this legend, Professor Frank Higham. He has strong links to the town as a vet but also his unique medicines, including "Chittanoga", which was said to cure dairy cows suffering "Dry Bible". Thing is, I can't seem to find too much evidence this was an actual illness found in cattle. Anyone heard of it?

19.01.2022 Close to the best meet of the year. Close.

18.01.2022 Excited to be doing the trackside MC role this year in the absence of April Matthews, who is based in Victoria.

06.01.2022 Back on the news again recently with Facebook booting news services from its platform. Thanks Shari Hams for the intro of "media guru" but disappointed it didn't make it into the caption. See the story here: https://youtu.be/paJkahFnftw?t=338 Also presenting a workshop at the upcoming SA Visitor Information Centre (SAVIC) conference in May on producing effective media releases.... Wonder if Sam Mac ever did this stuff? Probably not.

06.01.2022 Two great SA brands linking up.

05.01.2022 Ooooohh I’ve got to pick out an outfit.

04.01.2022 This wonderful human being taught herself the alphabet while watching TV with her children. Last year, she celebrated 25 years in a QA role with Almondco. Incredibly resilient character.

03.01.2022 Had a blast as MC for the Balaklava Cup yesterday. Thanks to Doug Hall and Andrew Manuel from the club for the opportunity. Largest event held outside of Adelaide since COVID restrictions apparently. Brilliant day. I’m pictured with photojournalist Ethan Allen and BRC chairman, Andrew Manuel. I was dressed by stylist, Lauren Goodwin

02.01.2022 I was thrilled to at last launch a new website for the town of Balaklava www.balaklava.net.au last week. Myself and Fran Henderson from the Balaklava Area Committee put stacks of voluntary hours into developing the content and workshopping the final design of the site. We think it looks great.... It was something we've been working on since February 2019. We went through website developer and graphic designer, Giedre Budrius, of Honeycomb.Design from Clare, who I worked with on my own website www.pearsonpr.com.au and Balco's www.balco.com.au The Balaklava website has two primary functions. The first showcasing what's on offer in the town. It's an accessible way to market the attractions and wonderful lifestyle we have here in Balaklava for those who are looking at visiting or possibly moving to the area. With the Northern Connector now operational, it's less than an hour's drive here from just north of the CBD. We've got affordable homes set in a quiet country town with wonderful schools and childcare centres, a hospital, supermarket, chemist, and many other excellent services based locally. The other function is a handy information source for residents and visitors alike. There's links to all our local clubs and community groups, information on major events, tourist attractions and town facilities. The site features imagery both supplied by local photographers and also some great shots from the local newspaper, The Plains Producer. I also retain content editing access, which I'm happy to continue doing in a voluntary capacity. It's a community page, so for anything you feel that's missing, email [email protected] or feel free to contact me directly to consider your suggestion.

02.01.2022 The first three of these little podiums I designed have been installed around town. Hopefully a few more to come!
