17.01.2022 Hi, my name is Jade. I am passionate about law and legal studies. I am currently enrolled in my third year, studying a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Criminology and Justice double degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I am offering tutoring in high school legal studies and would be pleased to offer my assistance in what can be a difficult subject! I achieved a ‘very high achievement’ (VHA) in high school for legal studies, which was the best attainable mark within th...e criteria. I’m currently employed at Lime Lawyers in Brisbane; a personal injury firm. Gaining both practical as well as academic experience in the field of law and legal studies has provided me with a broad skill set that I can offer to learners. I also have extensive volunteer experience within the field of law. I have completed an induction to legal practice at the Suncoast Community Legal Service and I am currently the Vice-President of Competitions for the Law Students’ Association at the University of the Sunshine Coast. I also progressed to the quarter final round of the University’s Negotiation Competition in 2018. My sessions are generally $40/hr. Discounted options may be available on request for small groups or longer sessions.

17.01.2022 Hey guys, Jayden here. I enjoy helping people reach their educational goals. I have a strong passion for mathematics and physical sciences. I have over 7 years experience in civil engineering but have recently stepped away and become part of the Pearson Tutoring team. Focusing on the learner's strengths can help develop a positive mindset in other areas of their education. I have found that this can be equally as important as focusing on areas the learner is struggling in. I ensure learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to understand concepts in class and to be confident in building on those skills in their own time. I see it as a privilege to be a part of your educational journey.

07.01.2022 Hello, my name is Brian Pearson. I am an experienced and passionate tutor. I have been tutoring locally on the Sunshine Coast for over 8 years, working with students from Year 1 through to Year 12, as well as students studying at university. I believe a good education is fundamental to the growth of students as it links directly to future career paths. My personal tutoring service provides students with the confidence, skills and motivation to understand concepts and quickly develop and enhance their knowledge and skill level. A tutoring session usually includes reviewing and expanding on class work and homework, organising and preparing for exams, as well as understanding concepts of, and assisting with, assignments. The needs of the student are the number one priority of the session.

06.01.2022 Hi, I’m Elye. I have been a passionate guitarist and musician for over 10 years and am overjoyed to be a part of the Pearson Tutoring team. I have over 4 years experience tutoring both children and mature students. I have been involved in the music industry in a variety of ways; having played in two classical orchestras, three bands ranging from jazz to blues to rock, as well as plenty of solo performing. This has given me the opportunity to have traveled the east coast of Au...stralia through my love of guitar, ukulele and music in general. I know from experience learning a musical instrument can be hard; and the relief I felt when I found the right tutor to walk me through the tricky parts you just can’t find on the internet. I’m excited to be your new tutor whether you are just learning your first chord on ukulele or your first rock solo on guitar, I’ll be there to guide and help you with your passion.

04.01.2022 Stuart has over two-and-a-half years tutoring experience, working for various agencies as well as freelancing. He has tutored online and in person and has worked with a wide range of age groups. While living on the Sunshine Coast, Stuart is completing his final year of study online via the University of Melbourne. Stuart's tutoring philosophy is simple, he wants to teach the student how to learn. His goal is to teach the student how to become independent and give them the confidence to teach others. By not following a strict and predefined teaching structure, Stuart allows himself to tailor all of his lessons to the request and needs of each student.

01.01.2022 Hey, I'm Tim and I am an enthusiastic part time tutor. Whilst employed as qualified civil engineer, I have been tutoring a variety of students of varying education levels for a number of years. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring students and achieve a personal sense of satisfaction from providing additional assistance to those that need it. Simply witnessing first hand a student's gratitude and pride when they finally understand a topic or achieve the grade they have been chasing is an amazing feeling. Sometimes it may just be the teacher or lecturer moving too quick during lessons, or something not explained as well as it could have. That's why I am here. I am here to help you work through things that may be creating that roadblock for you, focussing on your weaknesses and refining your strengths. Let's achieve your goals together.
