The children were really excited to show the team their teeth and the excellent care they have taken for their teeth. This has allowed for the children to learn about their own oral health as well as healthy eating and about our well-being.

16.01.2022 A sudden interest in the solar system has sparked an ongoing project with our Pre Kinder class. A sculpture made of clay has been created by our amazing children and displayed in our foyer. Ongoing projects give the children a focus and goal to aim for. But the most important part of a project is the process and learning involved. Well done to our Pre Kinder class!

10.01.2022 II Cooking with Miss Nicole II Our programs offer the opportunity for children to take part in cooking experiences, with our centre cook - yesterday we made pikelets for afternoon tea :) This allows for children to further develop their mathematics and science knowledge as they mix, bake and measure the ingredients required for the meal. It also allows for them to be a part of the meal time transition process as well as to prepare their own meals. They were enjoyed by all for afternoon tea - yum yum!

10.01.2022 Through independence children get to enhance their skills, learn right and wrong, develop their personality, and make decisions. To learn the ways of life, children need to experience life. This way, they will grow up strong, ready to take on life challenges, emotionally secured, and happy. In the Toddler Room at Pebble Patch the children have washed their hands and set up the meal table for lunch to allow them to eat progressively throughout the day, this is giving them a sense of belonging and building there independence skills

01.01.2022 Today our Nursery and Toddler children enjoyed a visit from Nicole’s baby cockatiel. Having animals in an early learning environment can benefit children in a number of ways. The bond between children and animals can help them to build a sense of empathy and respect as well as providing them with a calming influence as children settle into the day.
