25.01.2022 Lets learn about KINDNESS !!! This afternoon, the children gathered under the shade for a group time with Miss Tisha and Miss Wendy. Today we chose to learn about kindness to make sure we are spreading awareness about and the importance of displaying kindness in our daily lives. ... Miss Tisha read the book "Kind" which showcased different ways we could be kind and how easy it is to show kindness! The children really enjoyed the book and we went on to have a discussion about the different ways we could show kindness at school and at home. Well done Kangaroos !!

22.01.2022 Painting with Colourful Vegetables During morning group time, children were engaged in painting with colourful vegetables. They creatively used cucumber, carrot and mushroom as a stamp. They had chosen their favourite vegetables, dab it in the colours and painted on a plain piece of paper. This activity helped them to develop their fine motor skills. 10.01.2022 Penguin Awareness Day 2021-01-21 Today we celebrated Penguin day . The children got to make their very own penguins. They used paint , paper plates , googly eyes and pre-cut out shapes to make a penguin. They had lots of fun with this experience today . Tomorrow we will make a special penguin afternoon tea with the children.

09.01.2022 Group Time Discovering the Weather Over the next few weeks we will working on a weather project. To start we are making the sun and clouds. As we progress we will discover weather patterns and how these affect us. We also talked about months of the year days of the week, and what we wanted to do today.

02.01.2022 YOGA TIME!!! This morning the Kangaroos were busy moving their bodies and stretching their muscles as they participated in some Yoga ! We all followed a step by step yoga routine and have decided to implement this throughout our daily/weekly routines to encourage physical development! This was so much fun and everyone had a blast.

01.01.2022 Nature Painting Exploring nature through tree painting with early learners is fun activity that combines a craft with a nature study. During outdoor play time children were engaged collecting dry leaves from the ground. According to their interest Ms Mou invited them to do tree painting with paints and leaves .... This activity allows them to be creative and it also helps to built up their imagination and fine motor skills. They also learned about the leaf, its shape and colour.
