20.01.2022 Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have to cap our sessions to 15 adults. Once we have reached capacity, this sign will be placed on the top of the front fence (like in picture) Hopefully you will be able to see this without getting out of the car

16.01.2022 On Saturday 28th November, Pebbles will be selling our famous donuts to the community at the Christmas Markets. We need some volunteers! Without volunteers, these fundraisers are unable to happen and Pebbles is unable to raise money to purchase items for Playgroup. There are plenty of families that benefit from Playgroup and we need your help! Please PM Pebbles or see a committee member to put your name down to assist. If an hour (or any more) is all you can spare, that would help the committee immensely. Attached is the volunteer roster for you to see the jobs and times.

15.01.2022 Hi all, our AGM has been set for Wednesday the 9th of December at 9am. It will be held at the Pebbles building and kids are welcome. We would love some new faces and a friendly reminder that without a committee Pebbles won’t be able to continue into 2021. Please register your interest with our committee or miss Jane .

13.01.2022 It has come to our attention that the Pebbles building, where two community based organisations which benefit our youngest generations operate out of, has been utilised over the weekend without permission and some of our fundraised resources have been used and damaged. Can we please ask that if anyone sees something/someone out of ordinary, that they message the Pebbles or C&K Kindy Page so we can prevent any further issues. As a community we need to look after each other. Thankyou

11.01.2022 Hi all, just a friendly reminder to consider a spot for our 2021 committee! We still have some spots to fill and with no committee there is no playgroup!! It is not as big a job as assumed and you are not on your own, hence other committee members to help support each other. It is extremely rewarding to be able to give back to your community and its children, as well as a great way to make new friends and to create strong, successful networks. We greatly appreciate your consideration and hope to see you at our AGM next Wednesday at Playgroup at 9am!!

11.01.2022 Thankyou to those who have already volunteered your time to assist with our donut stall on Saturday at the Christmas Markets. We still have a few timeslots that we need some help with. The pink sections are where we need a couple more volunteers to be able to run smoothly. Cooking and serving... Packing up is always a hard one to fill, however, more hands make light work. Would love to help but just can't make it down. Help by running some of our utensils through your dishwasher. Please PM us or see a Committee member at Playgroup on Friday. 08.01.2022 To our dear Pebbles Families. It brings us great joy to announce we will be opening our doors as of Tuesday the 21st July!!! However... we have had to implement some temporary changes to our sessions due to Covid-19. Firstly due to the size of our indoor area, we have had to cap our sessions to 15 adults. We recommend that only one adult per family comes to playgroup (please ask partners, aunts, uncles, grandparents to stay home for now) to allow for more families to at...tend. We will also place a coloured card on the gate to let you know that we have reached capacity for that session without leaving your car green card - come in and play red card - sorry we are at capacity, please come back next session. This will hopefully save you dragging everyone out of the car only to turn around and get back in. Upon entry you will be asked to read and answer 3 questions; In the last 14 days have you or anyone in your family travelled overseasIn the last 14 days have you or anyone in your household come into contact with anyone who has traveled overseas OR is currently being tested or awaiting resultsAre you or anyone in your family/household currently unwell. Please don’t come in if you answer yes to any of these questions. Then when signing in for the session, you are also signing to answer no to these questions. Hand sanitiser will be placed at various locations around playgroup -please use it often! Most importantly in the gated entrance before you open the front door. Please encourage your children to use it or to wash their hands regularly, cough or sneeze into their elbows or hands (again wash hands after) Antibacterial spray along with paper towel will be in the bathroom and on the nappy change table- the toilets and change table must get wiped down after every use!!! If you or your child is unwell (including runny noses) please stay at home!! We must address it and will ask you to leave for that session. If your child has a non contagious medical condition such as hay fever which presents with a runny nose, we ask that you provide us with a medical certificate. Mouthed items must get taken away to be washed immediately. When outdoors, adults remember to keep distance between each other. Please understand that this has all been advised by Playgroup QLD and we can not open our doors if we do not follow these guidelines. Please bare with us, this won’t be forever. Lots of activities, a morning tea picnic. Huge thankyou to our wonderful Miss Jane !!

04.01.2022 We have a few spots on the committee that will need to be filled for next year.. with no commitee there will be no playgroup. Being on the committee isn’t as daunting as it may sound to some.. and with the previous commitee members who still go to playgroup there’s always someone that you can ask questions too. If your passionate about helping our youngest generation play and learn then come along to our AGM - Wednesday 9th Dec @ the Pebbles building to see what it’s about.
