25.01.2022 "Would you like some Pears?" A Stanthorpe grower has sent me this message. Pears seem like a long lost fruit that our Grandparents had. I have some fresh picked Packham and Bosc pears available @ $3kg. So, would you like some pears? I have some pineapple tops to give away for the gardeners, great for the kids to grow their own. Also have some 1 litre juice bottles, these are great for homemade sauce. Enjoy the rain, and thank you to all for supporting the Vegie Van

25.01.2022 Vegie Van weekend specials. Iceberg lettuce $1 ea!! Watermelon From $5.50, average $6 ea. Both of these are because the situation in Victoria has created a glut of produce destined for the restaurant trade. All my produce is sourced directly from the grower or grown myself. 24.01.2022 SPUD SPECIAL is back this weekend at the Vegie Van . The 6kg (approx) pot for $6, or the box of odd shapes 10kg (approx) $6. Direct from the grower in the Lockyer Valley. The Valley has an abundance of fresh produce, our caulies, spring onions and lettuce are all grown in the region. Rhubarb is back in limited supply, grown right here.

24.01.2022 We are fully stocked! Been a busy week at the Vegie Van and we ran out of some of our delicious produce. Pineapples and passionfruit are back. Strawberries a mixup in my order, so I now have 50kg of jam strawberries available in 1kg bags for $2. Plenty of punnet $3.50 500g or 2 for $6. Sweet corn, Granny Smith and Pink Lady Apples, button squash, mini capsicum. Much more. And if you've read to the end of my blurb, I have 3 display pumpkins under the signs which would be fantastic for Halloween. I would love these to go to kids. There are absolutely FREE. 21.01.2022 AVOCADOS These come from F.N.Q where the grower has been waiting from them to be creamy and tasty, avo perfection. Even my transport guy has pulled off the impossible, and got these here, even though the roads were flooded. Custard Apples are in better supply, I have 1kg bags for$5. Both red and white dragonfruit available. Lemons and lots more.

19.01.2022 All your Christmas mangoes at the Vegie Van. These have amazing flavour, and for $10 you get 7-8 mangoes. I have many return mango customer who can't get enough. We also have stonefruit that you'll keep coming back for, and watermelon for the festive season.

17.01.2022 Mouthwatering blueberries, fresh baked breads from Merrits Creek stocked in the van for the weekend. The awesome strawberries are back. Rhubarb, chokos, lettuce, caulies, apples, beetroot, honey murcott mandarins. Fresh button squash, zucchini and corn in full supply, thanks to my growing friends in Bundaberg. Our Vegie patch has been manured and rotary hoed ready for the upcoming season, and I'm excited. So much more at the Vegie Van

15.01.2022 We have some delicious new season produce. First week for Caulies & Eggplant. Navel Oranges arriving Saturday afternoon. Plenty of Mandarins, Avos, Passionfruit. Blueberries are so good they're addictive. Dragonfruit, Zucchini, Potatoes, Pumpkin and Pineapples and heaps more. And of course we now have Joel's amazing sourdough, and today a sample of his bagels, they'll be gone very quickly.

15.01.2022 Blueberries. We have the absolute best blueberries. We can say it til we are blue in the face, but until you've tried them you can't imagine how good they are. So now, here is your chance. $3 punnet at the Vegie Van. We'll have plenty there for you. Lots more to find in our huge new esky.

15.01.2022 Winter seasonal produce is in full swing. Caulies this weekend $2.50 ea. Hickson mandarins 1kg bags $2, and strawberries are back. Jam strawberries are ready for those that ordered them $2kg. Have a few spare. Picked pumpkins this week, so there will be some really unusual varieties to choose from. Huge variety of produce on offer, drop in and check us out.

15.01.2022 Spud special back on 6kg spuds for $6, 5kg onions $5. Please byo box or bag. Strawberries are great value 500g for $3.50, taste amazing. Cabbages fresh grown in the Lockyer Valley only $2ea. Eggplant, continental cues, cherry tomatoes, avos, changes every week. We will have butter beans later this afternoon, yummmm!

12.01.2022 A riot of colours and flavours in the Vegie Van. All these will be generously stocked for the weekend. Celery half bunch $1.50, mini capsicum, oh so sweet, but not as sweet as our strawberries at $3.50 punnet or 2 for $6. Blueberries, cues, cabbage, cauli, the variety is huge, and changes weekly.

11.01.2022 Ginger beer lovers. We have 'scrap' Ginger available $8kg!!!! Fresh dug and perfect to use for making Ginger beer, so cheap you can create many dishes. Will have small quantities at the van, but please order to guarantee supply. The very last and the very best of the Custard Apples. These are premium and we are pleased to be able to sell them at below wholesale prices (been high prices all season). SNOW PEAS available today, the very first of the season. So much more at the Vegie Van

10.01.2022 We have some fantastic drum head cabbage at the Vegie Van $3 ea. I have a real passion for fresh Australian produce, and the things you find at our Vegie Van are grown with that same fire. The blueberries we have all year are simply the best you will find, grown locally. They are $4.50 a punnet, and once you've had them you'll be hooked. Caulies still in abundance, plenty of pumpkin, pineapples are sweet, much more to discover.

Our esky specials sometimes we get an offer from our growers that's insane, and we can't say no (because I need 15 boxes of caulies and 400kg onions) We'll write these on the esky, could be there for a day, could be there for a week. 07.01.2022 LYCHEES. I love the tropical fruit season. We will have lychees available for pickup on Thursday afternoon. You can preorder 5kg boxes for $50 to guarantee yours, or we will have 1kg bags available from Thursday afternoon. Will also have the Bowen mangoes that have supreme taste, 7/8 in a bag for $10 or bulk R2E2.

01.01.2022 The watermelon are back, just in time for the really hot spell. Some of the best stonefruit I've ever had is in full swing, we have nectarines, peaches, apricots and plums(after 2pm Friday)New season garlic is available, also some caulies and sweet corn, but very limited. Raspberries freshly picked (again after 2pm, on the way home right now) oh I love the fresh seasonal produce we grow and source ....and mangoes are soooo close. Maybe next week.....

01.01.2022 STRAWBERRIES have arrived at the Vegie Van. 500g punnets $4.50. These are 2nd class in name only, 1st class in taste. I've been testing quality control and they are delicious. Snow peas are a bargain at $12 kg in $3 bags. We have 5kg bags of spuds for $7. Much more, come out and check our range. Now taking orders for jam strawberries, as I need to order them in advance to ensure supply.
