This ...two-hour webinar, presented by PECS co-developer, Andy Bondy, PhD, and Pyramid USA Clinical Director, Catherine Horton, MS, CCC-SLP, BCBA will discuss how professionals can remotely help families teach new skills while also providing direct services for their learners. The Pyramid Approach has been successfully deployed to improve staff oversight and we will discuss how a similar set of guidelines can help guide caregivers to provide meaningful lessons at home, including skills related to the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Participants will leave the training with practical skills to provide meaningful feedback to caregivers, as well as creative ideas to improve direct teaching interactions with their learners.
