23.01.2022 Introducing Rhys Treanor, our new Head of Production. Rhys joins Pedco Engineering with a Bachelor of Engineering Technology with a Major in Production Engineering; along with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production). He has had previous experience supervising and maintaining ISO9001 quality accreditation (which we have here at Pedco). He has also previously lead optimised production scheduling using resource capacity planning in fast-moving flexible production/warehouse environments and is used to working to short deadlines and project-driven demands. Rhys is highly qualified and competent, but what won us over was his focus on and approach to people and customers. Welcome, Rhys!

19.01.2022 Here we have a square to round stainless steel completed project. Accurate pressing is essential with this structure type to get the corners right, the curvature correct and the fit-up to line up properly. We are able to achieve this high level of accuracy using our Accurpress 650T press brake.

Standing almost 7 metres high and weighing in at 50 tons fully assembled, this bauxite chute has been project managed and skilfully fabricated and by our team from start to completion. The chute passed all UT, MPI testing with the final as-built 3D scans confirming excellent attention to the geometry and fit up with accurate overlays to the chute it will be replacing. 08.01.2022 After the announcement from State Treasurer Ben Wyatt, Chamber of Minerals and Energy WA CEO Paul Everingham said that "Thanks to higher than expected iron ore prices, the State Government is now predicting a budget surplus of $2.6 billion, whereas earlier in 2019 it was $1.5 billion... The increase in revenue will allow the State Government to repay debt, create jobs, fund infrastructure projects and deliver better services."

06.01.2022 Meet Pradeep, one of our awesome roller operators. He is using a plate/section rolling machine to form rounded sections out of flat metal stock and sheet metal. He creates a variety of structural shapes, including hoops, cylinders (up to 45mm thick), cones, pipe, channel and spiral rolling to name just a few, to exacting specifications. You're a legend Pradeep!
