If you watch towards the end, you will see an original lever type shock absorber in action. Back in 1950 when #Roy #Pedder began the Pedders Shock Absorber Service business, he was repairing and reconditioning this type of lever shock absorber. A good bit of history in action.

The earlier Hilux KUN26 models with the smaller 297mm front rotors are notoriously poor in braking. This car upgraded to Pedders Geomet coated directional slotted Rotors with Akebono Kevlar/Ceramic brake pads in the front and in the rear Pedders new Ceramic Brake Linings with brand new drums. What a difference! Significantly better braking!
