20.01.2022 Kennards Hire Rally Australia has ended in devastating fashion for Pedders Suspension Rally Team. With a seemingly unassailable 30-second lead going into the final stage the crew made a supposed error with timing, booking into the regroup prior to the stage. This resulted in a 1-minute penalty pushing us down to second outright for the event. This error also affected the results in the final 2016 Kumho Tyre Australian Rally Championship. As a team we extensively discussed opt...ions for appeal but the event believes a clear error was made and we have always respected the rules that we play to. Both Mark, who was so close to his first ever Australian Championship win and Dale Moscatt both did an exceptional job over the weekend together with the Race Torque Engineering Team. Both of these guys are currently inconsolable. As a team we celebrate the good times and we support each other when mistakes are made - and today is no different. We sincerely thank the majority of the Australian Rally community who have sent us messages of encouragement and support - a big thank you - it does get heard and it helps. Mark would particularly like to thank his family Miff, Jake and Dylan for their support. Decisions about the future of the Pedders Rally Team will be made in the coming weeks when this feeling is not so raw. See more

17.01.2022 Unfortunately I wont be driving the magnificent roads around the Coffs Coast at Rally Australia this year . The cost to bring the Skoda R5 out from Europe prov...ed too prohibitive and I was unable to secure a local car. Eyes forward now to WRC2 in 2017. I look forward to catching up with you all in Coffs as I support Mark and Dale and the Pedders Suspension Rally Team in the Australian Rally Championship. Cant wait also to see who will be crowned the 2016 ARC champs. Good luck to all especially Wayne and the entire Rally Australia organising team. See more
