24.01.2022 6 years of cooking the best dog food in Mandurah. Many have tried to recreate what we do, but we know when over 200 tubs sell a week that we got it right the first time. Peekaboo, when only the best will do!

24.01.2022 We all know that each and every dog who comes in to Peekaboo is loved by Janine. Teddy was no exception. Teddy's journey was over 3 years with us at an age where most Cavaliers are on their last legs. Teddy had endured back surgery, lived with a heart murmur and was just a typical happy boy. Each visit i would kiss him goodbye and tell him I loved him. Lee-Anne his mum would book his next appointment and we held onto hope he would make it. Almost every 4 weeks for these ...past 3 years Teddy aka fatty boomba would waddle through the door ready for some loving. Sadly today i received the message I so dreaded. Teddy passed away but he was lucky as mum and family where there with him. To say I am saddened is an understatement. Teddy's mum and I forged a great friendship. Lee-Anne stayed with Teddy during all of his grooms due to his back injury. Lee-Anne held him whilst i clipped him, helped wash and dry him, taking over many times when the phone rang or someone needed me. Many times we joked saying I should employ her! I know Teddy is out of all pain that may have consumed him if he had kept going. 13years for a Cav is a testament to how loved and cared for he was with his adoring family. Teddy, I shall miss you! Tears have flowed on and off all day. I will miss your visits and I will miss seeing Mum laugh when I said "1 more treat"! Run free my handsome, adorable, friendly, kind, chubby, huggable little friend. I was so blessed to be part of your life. VALE TEDDY <3

23.01.2022 ATTENTION Peekaboo family Please do not park in the driveway when attending the salon or daycare. There is parking bays either side of the driveway for customers. The driveway is for staff only. It also keeps the pooches and hoooomans safe when leaving the premises!

04.01.2022 A timely reminder PLEASE LEAVE THEM IN THE SHOPS The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.... Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell. Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes. They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog. Please be safe with your dogs!
