25.01.2022 Roxy Staffy x 4 yrs old Good with kids No other pets Vet work complete ... Hi meet Roxy , she is timid when first meeting people but soon warms up to you. Roxy does not like other dogs so she will need to be the only dog . Roxy just loves cuddles and wants to be with you , she can be cheeky and has been known to take the odd loaf off the side and bury in the garden . 24.01.2022 Not all the dogs we get are published for adoption. We have some people who have been on the list for months and months. They check in so often and then it’s their turn. This week has been a week of heart filled happiness. Jackie and Janine have done some amazing work. We may split them up as Belle has plenty of applicants but we didn’t want to put Taco in a kennel as he is still so young. He needs a safe home with someone home a lot who can work with our trainer. 23.01.2022 Rolo 5 years old Male Mastiff mix... Rolo likes other dogs, beach walks, being around people, belly rubs, chewing on sweet potato and carrots. Rolo is a friendly but shy dog, he loves children. Rolo doesn’t have too much experience with cats and has been an outside dog. Rolo will hide in the corner with tail between his legs when introduced to new males so needs a slow intro to new people. Rolo would love a place to recover from vet work and a family to help him on his next journey. Urgent foster required. 22.01.2022 Oakley & Ted Bonded pair will not be split up. Oakley 21 months... Female Rottweiler Vet work now completed Oakley is a stunning girl. A very playful girl who keeps a keen eye on her big brother for her confidence. Oakley has shown a lot of fear when out as she hasn’t been exposed to much outside a yard. Oakley loves to play and play. This beautiful girl needs a strong owner who understands this breed. Ted 7 years Staffy mix Male Vet work now completed Like any Staffy mix, this boy has lots of love to give. Ted loves his sister and is a very sweet placid boy who knows something has happened in his life and he just wants a safe home. Ted and Oakley are currently residing in kennels, where they are loving the play and being spoilt. These two aren’t camera shy at all and know how to turn on the charm. We don’t know how they are with children as they came to us from the pound after their owner passed away. What we do know is they will be staying together. 20.01.2022 For those wondering about old dogs. Janine picked up this beauty recently and she is staying put. At the ripe old age of 12years, she has just had a tumor removed and a biopsy for another lump. Janine is currently unavailable this weekend, as is spending time with family and we can see her grandkids have the same love for the new old girl. It’s definitely genetic.

18.01.2022 Update on Bella who went on a little stroll without permission recently. The lady who found her has asked to adopt her. Bella is now on a 10 day trial. A big thanks to Roy who fosters for us whenever he can between fifo shifts. Some things happen for good reason

18.01.2022 Henry didn’t work in foster. His is a grumpy old man and will nip if surprised as he doesn’t always hear you. He needs an owner who understands grumpy old dogs. 17.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE - Dogs are NOT a status symbol. Mixed breed to papered pure breeds, dogs are like a box of chocolates. We have noticed when we put a pic up of what is assumed a papered purebred and one of a mixed breed, we get more interest in the assumption than the dog. This page was founded by Janine who is the owner of 3 mutts. They are the dogs on the cover photo. A dog is what you as a human let it be. An inside dog, a working dog, a companion, a service dog. A dog r...egardless is your mate for life. Every dog needs training, don’t take a dog and give up on it within a day, this is why we give 10 day trials. Please don’t request a meet and greet if you have two or more dogs already and no letter from council approving another dog. Do not apply if you haven’t read the bio. We do a temp test, we do vet work, we have signed contracts in place. Don’t apply for a dog just because you like the look of it. Also, have a letter from your real estate approving a dog if you are renting, have your rates notice if you are a home owner. We will do checks. If you want more info on a dog, inbox the page. We have so many ‘knowledgeable’ people out there making assumptions. Feel free to volunteer your time before making judgement or assumptions please. We are here for the dogs not just the humans. We happily accept donations of food, bedding, flea treatment, worming tablets. We also have a donation tin at Peekaboo Doggy day care for coins towards desexing, vaccinations, vet work and other expenses. 14.01.2022 We are so sad for these two. Their owner passed away and no one wants them. All we ask is a safe secure yard. We don’t want to separate them but we can’t keep them in kennels forever. They do adore each other but it may come the time to split them so we get homes for them. The only way we will do that is if we rehome the staffy first. We will not separate them until he is safe. 14.01.2022 Roxy Staffy 4 yrs old Good with kids Only pet home Vet work complete ... Meet pretty Roxy , she’s great with all kids from toddlers up . Roxy loves being indoors with the family and can be a bit timid with strangers but warms the them quickly . You will need good solid fencing as she is very dog reactive even if she spies a dog through the fence . Training will be provided to put strategies in place to help with this . 11.01.2022 An interesting request. We have a young man who is living in WA and working here. He has flown his dog over from the eastern states, and will board him in kennels. He wants to get his own place and needs a foster carer. He will supply food etc and take him out on his week home. It will be at least 2 months so he can save for a safe place for him and his best mate. So if you can foster let us know. Rocko is a well behaved dog he likes to play,swim and loves attention. H...e is obedient can sit, shake hands, once shown his bed he knows where to go when told. He is good on the lead. Great with kids but can be a bit rough/clumsy with little kids. A dog labeled a banned breed, flown over from NSW to save his life and proven to be an amstaff mix. A dog so badly treated and now so loved. This is why we do what we do. We can’t use kennels at Xmas so dogs are often put to sleep as we have no place for them and have no option but to turn people away. We need your help today. 07.01.2022 Marlee 2 years Heeler x staffy Female... Vet work completed. Marlee is a beautiful and loving dog with a lot of energy . Marlee loves playing with kids and makes friends quickly . She loves to run around the back yard playing ,her favourite things to chase are moths , sleepy lizards and goes crazy for feathers floating in the wind . Her favourite treats to chew on are Deer shin , goat horn and trying to get biscuits out of her Kong . Marlee also loves the water, especially the sprinklers but has been to the beach and swims on a lead. Marlee is an indoor dog and would love to share your couch. Neo needs a home with older children who can cope with a large boisterous dog. Neo loves the water and sardines are his favourite for dinner.
