25.01.2022 Another year has flown by. Again, we dont celebrate but I did tell a couple of close friends and one came back with some wonderful words. So to paraphrase my gorgeous friend, here is what today is about. Focus on the positives - he is a strong, social and confident boy who has learnt many life skills. He has spoken to and met great role models, with and without Type 1. He has a book written about him and his cute face will be seen world wide. And, as for me, I have achieved many things, things that are WAY outside my comfort zone and I will continue to push myself for the greater cause. Last of all, I have met the most wonderful people during this time, I couldnt be without them, my T1 family!

25.01.2022 I have fought for a ministerial order for VIC/ AUST to make this training mandatory but it takes a death for it to become. Could you imagine this nurses dilemma. 23.01.2022 A new short film about living with T1 by a T1. For those in the US and UK you can watch it now but for us in Oz we need to wait a bit longer. Looking forward to seeing this when it arrives here.

22.01.2022 I finally had a chance to watch this 'minisode'. It's brilliant. Joe has a fabulous way of telling it like it is. My fav part - if you say I love having diabetes - go smoke another bowl I'll be watching it again with Isaac, for sure.

20.01.2022 Diabetes Australia/Victoria Circle Magazine arrived today. I had been sitting by the mailbox as I knew a few people had already received it. Isaac had forgotten all about me telling him hed be in the magazine. He always has a flick through it, and reads a few articles, so I knew hed be excited to see his book featured in there. Thank you Diabetes Victoria & Diabetes Australia for supporting my (Isaacs) book

17.01.2022 Whenever I receive a book purchase, its always a bittersweet feeling, as I love that Im helping people but I know theres another that is in the T1 family. A little book that makes a big difference for those with Type 1 Diabetes.

14.01.2022 I had a beautiful handwritten letter sent to me this week. They are retired teachers and had nothing but praise for my book. They would love it to make it into as many schools as possible.

05.01.2022 Awesome blood squirt! Right across the table. Type 1 Diabetes is not for the faint of heart. Type 1 Diabetes is a difficult condition to wrangle but things like this makes me laugh. He was sitting eating his dinner right there like its normal to have a blood squirt mark on the table
