22.01.2022 Though the weather overnight was not great, it proved to be an alright day to hold a bike race in Smeaton Way, Rockingham. The wind was the only issue, but that just proved to make the racing even tougher. The results of the day have been posted here - https://results.sporthive.com/for/PC290954 While we wait for the photos and race report from our secretary, I would like to thank our volunteers for executing a fantastic event this morning. It is a long day on the standing on ...the corners, and to everyone else on the rego desk, timing, and running the race, thank you. Our next event is '21 Summer Crits #2 in Alumina Road on the 29th of November, but don't forget the the Roues Chaudes Cycling Club event next week for the interclub points competition. We will post the points results a little later in the week, but I am sure you can work out who is winning from the first race. Thank you to City of Rockingham Local Government for their support of our 2020/21 seasons.

14.01.2022 REMINDER - BRING YOUR TRANSPONDER! If you are bringing your own transponder, put it on your bike NOW!. We have a full field tomorrow, so have no spares to lend you... It is going to be a cracker of a race tomorrow. Big field, great weather, fast flowing course. ... Those doing the skills session will have a treat tomorrow. Our Olympic and World Champion club Coach Peter Dawson will be running the session. It starts at 0715, all welcome. See you in the morning. DONT FORGET YOUR TRANSPONDER!

13.01.2022 BREAKING NEWS! If you race any crit this year with Roues Chaudes Cycling Club or Peel District Cycling Club you will accumulate points for an overall points competition. #letsridetogether Points will be awarded for ABCD grades, both Men and Women. We will find some SWEET prizes for the crit riders of the year. ... This will run in conjunction with the PDCC Members competition. The details are still being worked through, but with more than 20 Crits this summer, it is going to be a cracker of a competition. Consistency is the key with these competitions, so make sure you get in early. The first race is this Sunday '21 Summer Crits #1 - Smeaton Way.
