23.01.2022 The challenge this week was to find a junction box for the phone cables that had been hidden behind two layers of gyprock.

22.01.2022 It is important to get a licensed and skilled cabling person to work on your phone and data installations. I was called to a business today to investigate a fault which in part related to poor quality cabling by another Communications Company. (See attached photo). This is indicative of the quality of workmanship in the cabling that was run throughout the offices. To enable this businesses communications to work effectively, I will need to tidy up much of the original install...ation. If you want quality workmanship, give Peel Datacomms a try for your next job.

10.01.2022 My client was experiencing poor results with their connection speed on their Fibre to the Node (FTTN) connection. On inspection, the internal copper phone cabling (images attached) was to blame for the poor performance. Download speed on my arrival was 14860 kbps. After cabling was corrected the speed increased to 28562 kbps with increased stability of their NBN connection. This is a common problem we find with the internal wiring in clients premises and is not the fault of NBN or your ISP.

Graeme was entrusted with setting up our Telephone and Computer Cabling for our Graphic and Web Design business. I couldnt believe the ease in which he set our system up, although it was not a huge job for Graeme, it was a huge job for us, and he did it with ease. We had 14 location points that were setup for computers along with our Server cabinet... and messages on hold system. 02.01.2022 I received a phone call from an ISP today to advise that additional infrastructure works are in place to deal with the slow speeds being experienced during peak times on NBN in the Mandurah area. The ETA for completion of those works is the end of July.
