There will be lots to do on Christmas Day this year with helping set up and clean up to serving lunch for the homeless people of the Peel Region. 05.01.2022 Volunteer Service Awards 2021 The Department of Communities helps to acknowledge the significant efforts of Western Australia's volunteers through the WA Volunteer Service Awards program. The program recognises Western Australian (WA) volunteers who have provided 25 years or more of voluntary service, and in 2021 will also acknowledge those volunteers who have served across multiple organisations.... Nominations can be made for Western Australian volunteers who have provided 25 years or more of voluntary service to a single organisation. Nominees receive a 25 or 50 years of service commemorative badge and a personalised certificate in recognition of their service. For 2021, nominations can also be made for Western Australian volunteers who have served for 25 years or more service across multiple organisations. Nominees are acknowledged through a certificate of longstanding service. Nominations are now open for Volunteer Service Awards 2021 and will close on 1 March 2021.
