22.01.2022 Slip-resistance is an imperative safety requirement for all hospital floors. Smooth surfaces are especially prone to a large decrease in slip-resistance when contaminated, which was unfortunately the case for the neo-natal ward of a local Victorian hospital. Its floor slip-test rating was a very low P0, so the team at Peerless JAL went to work in an effort to bring it back to life, all 500 square metres of it. Using a slow speed Polivac machine, we deep-cleaned the floor with... our Trio floor maintenance solution to clean, strip and scrub the surface. After mopping the floor to remove any remaining residue, we again used a slow speed Polivac machine, before preparing the floor with our Versadet neutral floor cleaner. After another mop, we mixed and applied our Dr. Schutz PU Anticolor to seal the floor, using floor fans to decrease the overall drying time. We then repeated the process this time with our Eukula R10 non-slip additive. In order to retain a high slip-resistance rating, we recommend that floors be routinely cleaned and maintained. 22.01.2022 We just love our Eukula Strato Extreme water-based 2K timber flooring sealer, and many of you out there are starting to know why. For example, recently a professional contractor got caught out with a faulty roller on a job, creating these nasty roller mark lines. Unfortunately, he had no other option but to keep going, hope for the best, and more likely than not succumb to a re-sand and extra coat the following day. Much to his surprise, when he arrived the next day, the coating had corrected itself perfectly to produce an amazing finish despite his defective roller. 20.01.2022 This month, our small but dedicated team in Western Australia gave the Perth office a fresh makeover with our German-made Dr. Schutz floor coating and sealer products.
