15.01.2022 One year on from Black Summer and the reality bites just a little bit! A grief process derailed be CV19! The fire-grounds were not immediately proximate to wh...ere I live but the smoke plume was so massive it dropped temperatures here by more than 10C, which was a blessing of sorts in summertime whilst death and desperation and destruction rained down randomly and sporadically throughout Eastern Oz! The post trauma check has now arrived 2021 I’m thinking. Was just looking over some of my photos from the scene, you know the kind: triggering, ‘treasured memories’ via a Facebook bot! My emotional connection has more to do with the amazingly resilient, the leaders having to lead amid their own personal stories never told. What upsets me most are all those who essentially had no down-time but instead had little choice other than to work, primarily to help get things back on track for others than by necessity for themselves. This was a point blank tragedy to be clear! Then along came CV19. My local supervisor, pictured below, kept a good eye on me during the post disaster response #AskTheQuestionsSayTheWords ______
