11.01.2022 This lovely lady came to see me yesterday to have her ear lobes re-pierced. Due to metal allergies, she had avoided wearing earrings or having her ears pierced for over 10 years! Like many people, her ears would swell, be itchy, red raw and sore to the point of even bleeding due to the discomfort and irritation from having inferior metals in her ears and can only wear titanium jewellery. I will always confidently remind clients that implant grade titanium is far superior to ...silver, surgical steel and yes, even most gold...for healing piercings and healed piercings alike....and as always, piercings should be done with a needle, never a gun due to the damage of blunt force trauma and poor quality & unhygienic design of butterfly back ear studs.
