25.01.2022 This little darling got a do with ugg boots today. He was so cute! Seriously, this pony has a picture perfect head under a ton of hair that was so much fun to reveal! He was a total gentle man too. Got cranky half way through so he went for a little walk to stretch his legs. He took that very seriously and threw a few bucks in. It was hilarious. Then he stood perfectly again for his head and ears. What a gem!

24.01.2022 Amazing explanation! I encourage all riders to watch to learn how easy it is to effect the horses body with a slight weight change in your bodily direction. The best riders can do the most difficult moves without moving their shoulders at all. Its a great aim for us all in correcting position.

23.01.2022 I am heading up to Qld for the weekend of the 5th and 6th of October. Please let me know if you need any fur kids clipped and i will do what i can to fit you in. Limited bookings available.

22.01.2022 This season has had me hit the ground running! So busy, so early in the season! Look forward to seeing everyone and de-fuzzing your babies. Please share my details with friends. I'm offering discounts on all successful recommendations this year. Just make sure they mention your name on booking and I'll discount on your next visit. Happy horsing!

21.01.2022 Amazing opportunity!

21.01.2022 This was today's project. Nic is just so cute. He's got so much personality and just look at him, he's adorable! Thanks Jennifer for the privilege of working with Nic. Also spent the day at Kelecyn Eventing yesterday with Charlotte. Her monster warmblood was so much fun to work on. I had to use a milk crate though! His first clip and he was a dream!

21.01.2022 The fuzz has begun. Currently unable to continue with my Qld clients die to border closures but as soon as they open I'll be heading up that way. Good news for my NSW clients means that I have more time down here for the floof removal. Please stay safe everyone!

19.01.2022 #rideforolivia Attention! For all of our Eventing community and also friends and riders that knew the amazing Olivia....We are putting together a special mosaic print for the Inglis family, but need your help!!! Please post your most favourite photo of you and your beloved horse and add #rideforolivia when you post it where it will then be incorporated into the mosaic which will make up the one overall photo of Olivia riding. Please pass this on so we can get 100s of photos together!!!

19.01.2022 I've backed this beautiful woman many times. Please prioritise your horses health and get Tam out. She's kind, gentle and has a way with horses that you will just love to watch in action. My furkids love her. Even my cranky scared mare just melted in her presence. I'll be seeing you all soon enough, the temperature is finally starting to drop. Love to you all xo

19.01.2022 One of my first professional clips. Can not believe it was 10 years ago. I still love the incredible transformations and the conversation that I have with the horses to get their trust.

18.01.2022 Another beautiful, newly fuzz-less boy. Such a pleasure to have the opportunity to work with such incredible animals.

17.01.2022 I've recommended Tam from ridestrong to a few of you now. With really reasonable rates and a natural feel for pain and how to help our fur babies, everyone should be getting her out to visit. Can't recommend her highly enough. Her talent comes from lots of studying but also the heart!

16.01.2022 This little guy has come into my life. Its day 4 and each day he shows drastic improvement. If youre able to help support him itd be greatly appreciated. Any little donations help. All proceeds will go into getting Gizmo back to full health. Hes just a baby really so he has a bright future ahead of him and Im honoured to be blessed with the job of helping him with that. Follow his page for updates on his progress.

16.01.2022 We offer a natural drug-free treatment for horses who are suffering from respiratory issues or skin conditions. It is ideal for performance horses that compete ...on a regular basis and is useful for both pre and post racing/showing. We also see great results in all types of horses from pony club ponies to golden oldies who may be suffering from skin conditions and/or depletion of mineral salts and rejuvenation of the cells that are lost in their day to day workloads. Our unique technology and the use of Ultisalt (TM) formula allows us to achieve rapid hydration with essential mineral salts (akin to having an intravenous saline treatment in humans) in a non-invasive, dry salt environment. 16.01.2022 Looking back... One of the first clips I did "officially" when I started Pegasus Inc in 2010. Still remember it like it was yesterday.

15.01.2022 Merry Christmas and safe holidays to all my wonderful clients and families (fur kids included of course)! Thank you all for your undying support throughout the year. Love to you all xo

14.01.2022 I've been rambling on about over breeding and backyard breeding for years. Buy! Don't breed! Geld anything that isn't bred primarily for the purpose of breeding that is registered AND conformationally sound! This will never stop unless we start from the beginning of this process!

11.01.2022 I've had a few clips booked in during this heat wave for thicker coated horses. Clipping is certainly an option, so long as once the temperature levels out everything is done to ensure that they're not cold. The last thing anyone wants is a snotty horse!!! Keep electrolytes up! It's crazy hot out there and our babies are feeling it.

11.01.2022 Here goes. New business drive.

09.01.2022 Hi all. Finally, the temperature is slowly beginning to back off from the crazy heat. I have been quiet lately and I have news.... I'm now living in Coffs Harbour!!! This doesn't necessarily affect my Qld clients, just requires a bit more planning. ... I will still come to Qld a few times during the season but they'll be done in blocks. Once I get a bit of interest role in, I'll post that I'll be up at a certain time so you can book in for a fab pony haircut when needed. We can't have fuzzy ponies on the loose!!! Happy horsing! Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

09.01.2022 Such a brilliant idea and concept. Rug bags made to order also.

07.01.2022 This is the basis of a lot of my work. Anyone who has met my special mare, understands how important emotional rehabilitation can be. No one though it could be done but shes now 100% handled. Shes still not safe for people she doesnt know and trust, especially if Im not there with her and shell never been ridden. But shes had 8 years now of rehabilitation and shes the most tender hearted animal Ive ever met once I was allowed to touch her. Shes beautiful and its my pleasure to let her live a happy, spoiled and loved life for as long as she lives. Just because its what she deserves after everything shes been through.

06.01.2022 Heres two clips from yesterday. They were both great ladies in dealing with what was quite likely to be their first clips. Best of luck to both of them on Friday for their comp. they both came up picture perfect and could have gone in the ring straight after the clip. I love the transformations! Happy horsing to you all!

05.01.2022 It's a dry season according to the skin of all the horses I've clipped so far. A coconut oil sponge bath seems to be helping heaps after a clip. Lots of itchy horses this year. Take care and happy horsing!

05.01.2022 Im coming to Qld! I have spots available next week. Contact me if you need the fuzz removed from your fur kids. So excited to see my regulars!!!

04.01.2022 Ground Tying As many of you know, the correct approach in handling the horse is a big part of my focus when clipping a horse. I like to make sure that they understand what is expected of them while I'm holding a scary object on them. Once a horse has clear boundaries set and understands his or her job while receiving their haircut, life becomes much more harmonious for both of us. My job is to hair cut gently and with full respect of what I am asking and their job is to stand... still unless their is something that they are uncomfortable with so I can explain that scary thing to them better. Ground tying is a fantastic method of training that sets clear boundaries and is a calm way to correct a horses resistant behaviours. Ask the horse to "stand". That is the expectation. Stand with them quietly and ask nothing more. Give him or her a loose lead and let them be comfortable in their space. Once they take a step, whether it be forward, backwards or sideways, correct the behaviour calmly by putting them back in the original position. So if he steps forward, ask for a backwards step (I ask for as many as they have taken out of the original position) and ask "stand" again. Once you are able to get them to stand for a requested period of time (making it short at the beginning), walk the horse forward and give them a pat. This is a brilliant training method as it gives the horse a clear expectation. Many horses don't know what is expected of them while being handled in new circumstances and that is what creates "fidgety" behaviour. Keep practising this one. The end result should look like expressing "stand", dropping the lead and walking away. It's very handy! Happy horsing. I hope to see you soon.

03.01.2022 Very interesting. So great that we are making progress but it's terribly sad that the old ways still exist. My chestnut mare was tortured and broke her wither from being tied down. She was the sweetest horse I ever have met once all of the fear was removed. My beautiful Lacey lady

02.01.2022 First clip of the season yesterday. It's finally started to drop in temperature. Can't wait to see all my fuzzy ponies soon!

01.01.2022 I implore you all to join this seminar. This woman is doing some incredible work for our equine friends.
