23.01.2022 There is something about drinking a milkshake that inherently brings out the photo bombers!

18.01.2022 A big thank you to the Year 5 students at Sunnybank Hills State for the lovely letters they recently sent me. They were extremely well written with handwriting that is much superior to mine!
17.01.2022 With the winner of Fashions on the Field, Australia Day 2021!

15.01.2022 With the two things I need to be officially sworn into Parliament today!
13.01.2022 As much as I am a Kit Kat fan, four small Xmas flavoured bars for 25 bucks is surely a firm indicator that peak capitalism has been reached!
12.01.2022 **Border Update** Our borders will re-open to all of NSW from 1 December 2020. Our borders will also open to Victoria on 1 December 2020, if there is no unlinked community transmission recorded in the next 24 hours.
12.01.2022 The State Budget was handed down today and we have delivered on our commitment to fund extra police, mobile police beats and extra resources to help our men and women in blue keep our community safe. The LNP do a lot of talk in relation to this issue but they commit to very little and deliver even less!
11.01.2022 Congratulations to the team at Ifeelgood247 on your 5th anniversary and also the 7th anniversary of Ifeelgood247. This year has been tough for local business but these guys have kept working to support local jobs and keep us healthy.
11.01.2022 Some mementos, including a signed photo by Annastacia Palaszczuk MP and Grace Grace MP of the recent visit by Runcorn State High School Captains to Parliament House.
10.01.2022 Always happy to support Under 8s Day at Stretton State College!
10.01.2022 We're investing billions of dollars into our community that will improve our transport needs and create jobs. Building infrastructure for the benefit of all Queenslanders.
08.01.2022 Interesting read about Pauline Hanson's big money re-election campaign . I wonder how many of the 90 One Nation candidates who ran in the 2020 State Election were forced to fully fund their own campaigns and how much public funding since received has gone into Hanson's $1million war chest? As one former long time member who ended up resigning said, One Nation is just a money making exercise now for the betterment of one person. We all know who that person is! Of course, never forget One Nation overwhelmingly preferenced the LNP at the last State Election and the LNP was only too willing to do the same!
08.01.2022 Pro tip: To pull off a pic with 52 socially distanced people you need an expert photographer plus a step ladder!
07.01.2022 The latest updated COVID Road Map.
06.01.2022 Toy safety is vitally important at all times but especially at this time of year. Any concerns about unsafe toys should be reported at www.qld.gov.au/fairtrading or by calling 13 QGOV (13 74 68).
04.01.2022 We have had some outstanding Youth Members for Stretton over the years. Nominations for the 2021 YMCA Youth Parliament are now open for young people aged 15 to 25.
03.01.2022 The reopening of the border to Sydney is just hours away yet Gelato Messina are yet to deliver on their promise to dedicate a flavour to our great Qld Premier. I know the Berryjiklian flavour left a sour taste for many so its definitely time to produce a flavour dedicated to the Premier that all Qlders will enjoy!
03.01.2022 Since the election a lot of people have asked me what happened with the preferences of the One Nation candidate given the lies and obfuscation by the LNP and their cronies over the fact they were preferencing One Nation at number 2 on their how to vote card. As you can see from the official count from the Queensland Electoral Commission, the overwhelming majority of One Nation preferences went to the LNP candidate. In fact, the number of One Nation preferences to the LNP was actually more than the other two candidates combined. You can check it out here: https://results.elections.qld.gov.au/st/stretton/preference
