The prospect of a win in tonights game against Lions hinges on the ability for our chargers to be at the top of their games against a full strength team who are rumoured to have had scratch matches on Christmas and New Years day James Corea makes his debut for the club after an impressive showing at training during the week. 17.01.2022 Lachy Seabrook went big last night. An incredible display of power hitting (into the breeze) and manipulation of the bowlers to all parts of the ground. A special night for Lachy passing 1000 runs for the season and guiding Crabs to another win. Well done mate!!! A special mention to Jordo for another 50 supporting Lachy well and Jim finisning off an innings that ... will be remembered for years to come. Also, the bowlers were ruthless, with Sunny and Jim wreaking havoc from the get go and Boston "The Boss" showing us how to rip and bounce. See more

Some positives - Matt Smith making a carefree 40 with good support from Williams (20) and Hollemans (19) and a couple of blokes getting off a string of ’s of 3 or more. Crabs will need to find the veracious appetite in the field which saw a great run of wins in the 40 over comp prior to the break, maintaining pressure of the opposition batting, before taking on Rec Club next round.

07.01.2022 Our ladies team completed another emphatic win over Kats on Tuesday night, continuing their undefeated season. Amy Rushton fired off a match winning 44, also her own top score, while Ash Homes finished off the Crabs inning with a quickfire 33 not out. Jess Pitches took 2/14 off her 4 overs, while Jade Keremelevich, Emily Caputo, Jess Creighton and Leeanne Minchin contributed with a wicket each. Credit to Kats who batted well to frustrate the Crabs bowlers by batting out the 2...0 overs. Makinley Minchin will be running bulk laps at training this week after refusing a perfectly reasonable request from a family member/team mate prematch. 05.01.2022 Last week saw a couple of great performances from our Crabs with Lachy Seabrook scoring his third century for the season and Jessica Creighton bowling 3 pretty tidy overs when Rec Club were beginning to hit out in the latter part of the innings.
