25.01.2022 While playing a game of connect four, the person I was playing with kept losing because they were making quick decisions and only focusing on what they were doing, not what is going on around them. Before the next game, I gave them a few simple steps to approach the next game with: - Stop and take a step back - Take a breathe - Look at what is going on around you - Focus not only on yourself, but what the other person is doing... - Think if the decision will set me up to win or lose in the future - Then Act when "YOU" are ready They then won the next game applying these steps Simple steps for a game of connect four which are simple but perfect steps for making wise decisions to live out life. #livelifesmart #easyasconnectfour

Christmas is the time of hope, love, joy, amazing grace and forgiveness If this year hasn't been what you expected as most of your year may have been a year of lows, or maybe you yourself made a decision/s that caused harm to others, "You are what you choose to become" Choose forgiveness for yourself and others, then comes grace, then will come peace, then love and joy. 13.01.2022 Notice to all visitors at Peirson Services, You are important to us! Our intention is to continue to provide counselling and youth services to our clients despite the challenges of the current COVID - 19 situation, it’s just that we might need to do things differently. This page will be kept up-to-date on a daily basis: so check in here to find the latest info about how Peirson Services is managing service delivery on any given day.... At this time we are remaining open and will continue with all booked appointments, though all group work has been suspended till further notice. Moreover, in order to continue providing face to face services we are seeking your help with the following measures. Precautionary Measures When Visiting Peirson Services For the safety of all visitors and as a condition of entry to Peirson Services: All Visitors Must Use the hand sanitiser at our front door before entering the building Avoid touching your face or surfaces around the office Use social distancing of 1.5 metres, no physical contact at all If you have any cold/flu symptoms or have recently travelled from overseas or interstate, please call ahead and we can arrange your appointment to be via phone or the internet. Together we all have a joint responsibility to make these arrangements work and keep you and our staff safe. Contingency Plans are in Place Should We Need to Close the Office We have contingency plans in place should we need to close the Normanby Square office. In such an event we plan to continue service delivery by phone and online while staff work from home. All current clients will be contacted by SMS or phone should this measure become necessary.
