25.01.2022 **rehomed** Update on Thelma WA: Yesterday Our sweet Pirate underwent Palette surgery, unfortunately being required more in this breed both pure and crosses ...these days because of breeding with no thought or research into the breed before mating. What was found with Thelma like alot of rescues she has very early and mild stage tracheal collapse however with weight loss and fitness will be happy and healthy for years, its always important to keep pugs in the healthy weight range. A huge shout out to Dr Jeremy the Pug whisperer of WA at Belridge Vet Centre, for looking after Thelma, and Donna & Tessa post op, Thelma has a new family in waiting so she will be loved as she was in her last home For all you owners of Brachycephalic breeds, recommend a visit for a check up if you pug is a very noisy one :)B2 http://www.belridgevetcentre.com/contact-us.php

24.01.2022 UPDATE: Oprah has been found in a paddock Thanks everyone for sharing and caring, her mummy is absolutely ecstatic PLEASE HELP BY SHARING... A de...ar friend has had the most horrific experience. She had a home invasion last night around 10pm. She was confronted by two masked people with a firearm. Her pug has gone missing presumed stolen from then. This lovely lady has not only lost her husband in the last few weeks and now her beloved pet. Please followers, bring Oprah home. She is 2 1/2 Black Female Pug. She has a skin condition that left untreated will get out of control. Microchip is registered in NSW but her number will still be able to be scanned . But may come up unknown, last located South of Brisbane but could be anywhere by now. Chip has just been registered with Aus Wide database and tagged as Missing/Stolen. See more

23.01.2022 If you own a dog, youve heard this rule: 1 year for Your dog equals 7 years for you? Turns out, the math isnt that simple, Dogs mature more quickly than we do... early on.....So the first year of your fuzzy friends life is equal to about 15 human years. (might explain some of that naughty behaviour ) Size and breed also play a role. Smaller dogs tend to live longer than larger ones, but they may mature more quickly in the first few years of life. A huge pup might age more slowly at first, but be nearing middle age at 5. Tiny and toy breeds dont become "seniors" until around age 10. Medium-sized pooches are somewhere in the middle on both counts.

20.01.2022 For all those down the Mornington Peninsula way in Victoria, a great new store has opened, and I visited yesterday to buy food for my crew, as I like to feed alternative/raw foods, They offer a variety of human grade meats, bones and offal, as well as pre-made meals (all single protein) and some amazing bone broth. She has had her checkup at the vets today and apart from a mild skin and ear infection is doing very well for her age. Molly loves to travel in the car or dog pram when she gets tired. She eats well and although she gets along with the other fosters, prefers to be with her humans.... 18.01.2022 Hello Followers: Currently in Qld we are assisting with rehoming a number of Maltese x, I may Point our that we are assisting, this means that any medical and o...r previous history of the dogs is between the adopter and the current carer, these dogs are a result of a person putting them in boarding and for reasons no longer being able to pick them up. The ages are between 3-6 years they will be desexed, wormed vaccinated and microchipped, there is an adoption fee to cover costs. 16.01.2022 Welcome to our new boy Dinky in Southern Queensland This beautiful 2 yr old Peke came to us with several behavioural issues, something that will be worked on for a little while with our foster and potential new family. After a week he is making great progress and will be looking for an experienced loving home after his eye checkup next week. Dinky is a loving boy but can Kennel guard so a home that is going to continue his training is a must. His foster care will go through ...all Dinkys history with the new family. He gets on well with the other fosters but suited best to another smaller dog. Dinky is not suited to children either. He loves travelling in the car and just being with you..please consider that Dinky will need someone that is home often. Molly is very friendly, never aggressive, loves sitting on laps and gets on with other animals including cats. Shes a female Pekingese and is 10. Years ago she had hip issues and hasnt had anything recently. She loves going for walks and is good with kids. 04.01.2022 What does it mean to Break Ones Spirit? Meet Chloe, she came from a puppy farm in NSW and she has had her self-esteem destroyed, her joy in what she should of h...ad in life taken away, to have been emotionally/mentally and physically beaten down to the point when approached she drops to the groundwaiting for whats coming. Chloe, like most dogs, is forgiving, but it takes time, it takes patience, and it takes understanding, because in the future some of that trust will return. Felcity, our foster in NSW, took 2 of these girls; one now with an experienced puppy farm foster, and Chloe has made the trip to Melbourne with Felicity to see the vet we trust the most, with all her emotional issues. She has wounds to legs that makes me feel ill on how they got there, has similar wounds on both legs, one worse than the other, damage on this leg may not be repairable we will see. I have seen and worked with many rescues, but can see in a very short time this little girl wants to fit in, wants to be normal, wants to be loved, accepting pats and sitting on the couch near you. She immediately bonded with my pack, and although not keen on male humans, did show some interest in my husband. When she is my yard she looks for a way out, checking the fence line for a hole or a gate left open. This is normal behaviour for a PF dog, she has looked for this freedom for a long time. Chloe will be up for adoption in the future, and will be looking for a very, very special home, one with people who are home a lot, where she will always be safe and sound :) B2

Our BIG Announcement for the exciting fundraiser our team of Pugs & People have been working on with the amazing gang at Zoo Studio and we ...are proud to announce the Pugs SOS / Zoo Studio 2019 Calendar! All of the models are of course Pugs SOS rescues and the calendar will include their stories and happy endings. The lovely little lady on our promo here is the beautiful Betty who is one of our Queensland rescues living a very happy life now with Emma and Shayne. 100% of the proceeds of this beautiful calendar will go directly into Pugs SOS to help rescue and care for as many of these precious animals as we can so if you can please help by either purchasing or sharing our calendar there are many little Pugs who will be very grateful. We will have pre-sales commencing in July 2018 with the release of the calendar to be a month or two later and will provide updates on where and how to purchase as soon as possible so please stay tuned for more exciting announcements. 02.01.2022 HOT HOT HOT.....that is the Forecast for most of Australia... today and the coming days, animals suffer this time including our wildlife Recommend, keep your ...dogs inside on cool mats, tiles flooring if you dont have air con, plenty of drinking water that must be cool, if you see any signs of stress contact a vet ASAP...... Walking is a no no not only is it hot but roads and footpaths, crush rock is red hot, dogs sweat through the pads on their feet, and they do burn easily. Be mindful of dogs around water, like children should be supervised as drowning is also a possibility on these days :) Where possible leave water out for wildlife and birds so they also can hydrate and keep cool. :) B2
