25.01.2022 OMG my heart is all a flutter After making gardens for the last fifteen or so years I’m now offering my services as a Garden Designer, and here is one of my clients responses that came through recently in email. I LOVE what I do, and I cannot wait to see this garden growing. It’s a complete conversion to native species with a focus on creating habitat for local species of birds, reptiles, amphibians and most especially - butterflies.

23.01.2022 It feels so nice to be getting the courtyard area all ready to give my clients a welcoming and cheerful entranceway I just planted out a flower garden and can’t wait for the seedlings to fill out and start popping colour

18.01.2022 Oh yes!! One of my designs is being installed as we speak, so exciting!!! Here is a before pic, and a sneaky look at some of the plants to go in. Watch this space to see how the garden turns out Honestly, I am loving this. Finally using my design cert’ and putting 15 years of making gardens into a professional context has been such a rewarding decision. Much gratitude to Jack The Gardener for teaming up with me

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone! So Covid19 absolutely turned my life inside out. I lost my work, my apartment and my son moved in permanently with his dad on a beautiful bush block: a very long way away. I was utterly lost, I felt my identity had been ripped away from me and all I had left was myself and my studies. This all changed when I found a new job as an assistant manager in a motel... drumroll- in Western Australia. ... So once again I have relocated and once suspensions are lifted I will be restarting Pelangi KaHuna in Halls Creek WA. Thanks again to all my beautiful clients who have been patiently waiting for me to reopen in Brisbane, I wish you the best of luck- feel free to contact me for recommendations on your new massage therapist. Here are some photos from my road trip across the top- my journey to a new start in life! Sometimes it feels as though everything happens at once, as though everything is falling apart. It helps to remember that dissolution is followed by resurrection!

08.01.2022 Many Tuvaluans have a strong connection with the sea, developed through involvement in the nation's predominant maritime industry. Crucial to the development of... this industry is the Tuvalu Maritime Training Institute (TMTI) in Amatuku, which provides around 120 marine cadets with basic skills to become seafarers each year. Australia Awards Alumnus, Pine Timoteo is a lecturer at TMTI. He was first awarded a Trade Diploma in Nautical Science at the Fiji National University in 2012. This experience encouraged Pine's interest and commitment to the sector. Recognising Pine's potential contribution to Tuvalu's maritime and education sectors, in 2018, he was awarded an Australia Awards Scholarship to study a Bachelor of Applied Science (Nautical Science) at the University of Tasmania- Australian Maritime College, which he says, helped him better to understand and address skills shortages in the maritime area. "The opportunity to study in Australia has deepened my understanding of this field which I can show with TIMTI trainees. The experience has also helped me be a better mentor to these young people and my workmates. I want to continue sharing what I have learned and further raise the profile of the industry." Australia Awards Scholarships for Intake 2021 are open till 30 June 2020. For information on how to apply, call us on +688 20042 or visit our office today. 07.01.2022 Hi everyone Long post, please read it. I’m sharing quite a lot about myself, my experiences recently and my plan to move forward through this year. There are potentially some good options for you- my wonderful supporters and clients I really got steamrolled by the changes brought about by the emergence of our latest germ, my massage business had to cease trading and I lost my main job. I have also been moving house again and had an episode which landed me in hospital. ...Continue reading
