23.01.2022 STAGE 2 Students Weekly Thinkboard Question. Work at home with a family member to see if you can work out the problem. One newspaper is selling children’s picture books cheaply, if a newspaper is purchased as well. The price of each storybook is $2.70. At that rate, how much would Jeremy have to pay to buy 8 of those storybooks?

22.01.2022 Don’t forget to purchase your Year 6 Recipe Books. $10 per book and they are filled with beautiful yummy recipes. Notes went home this week, notes and money to Ms Williams.

21.01.2022 Final Scholastic Book Club #8 orders are due back at school by Friday 27th November (end Wk 7). Some great Christmas present ideas! Thanks as always for supporting Book Club so that we can earn new resources for our library.

18.01.2022 Pelaw Main PS have acknowledged with respect the deep connections we have with NAIDOC Week 2020 - through a whole school art activity with each student painting a hand for a special display; and all classes conducting research through shared resources both hard-copy and on-line to better understand and appreciate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. https://www.facebook.com/NAIDOC/ #NAIDOC2020

16.01.2022 Tomorrow, Tuesday 15th December will be our whole school snag sizzle and ice block day. Students do not have to bring their lunch if they would like a sausage. #2daystogo

10.01.2022 Attention Year 6 Parents/Carers Tomorrow will be our final goodbye to our Year 6 students. We will be holding our clap out at 3.10pm in the COLA for staff and students. We are asking parents to line up OUTSIDE on the sidewalk from the main gate to the sensory garden gate. Students will then run though the students and parents while we can clap them. We ask parents to do this ensuring social distancing from non family members. We will have leaders outside to show you where to stand. This way we can have an extra long clap out for our wonderful students!

08.01.2022 Our Final Week of School for 2020! More info coming on what our Year 6 Clap Out will look like BUT it is happening!

02.01.2022 THINKBOARD TIME This weeks question is for our Stage 3 Students. Work with a member of your family, talk about your strategies you use and upload your pics of your completed work. Question: In a special offer, one newspaper chain is offering 15 different titles of children’s story book -one per day- costing $2.70 each, with the purchase of a newspaper. What would be the total cost of purchasing 15 storybooks if a newspaper had to also be bought each day for $1.90?
