21.01.2022 Day 19-366/Staying Positive Some days it’s hard to stay positive,But we have to try anyways, As we practice seeing life in a Positive light,We become able to e...xperience all the good things that are present in our lives & let go of the Negative. Things I always tell myself when Negative creeps in-In Spite of my best efforts,some things are out of my control, Stay Positive anyways, Always remind ourselves that the Most important day is today & things ALWAYS look better tomorrow!! Because sometimes when you think the answer is No’ it’s really saying Not Yet so stay Positive anyways, Sometimes a wrong turn will bring you to exactly the right place. Feed our minds with positive thoughts & no matter where life takes us or what path we all choose, We will always meet Challenges.Its the way of Life.There is No guarantees, and no matter how many things we do right at times or how we follow the right way, There will always be self doubt and when you get there and your mind confuses you,remember that prayers will get you through anything. The greatest gift of all lies within yourself & staying Positive Always even when you don’t feel like thinking positive because sometimes we need to be where we are for awhile ....feeling the feelings and working our ways through the struggles.Because there’s always a right time for everything. So staying positive always gives us hope & leads us to having Faith. So if we try Not to worry,entrusting that all things will come at the right time...and to always be assured that staying Positive will bring a better Tomorrow!! See more

19.01.2022 Day 17/366- " THE CONTROL IS IN YOUR MIND" "THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I WOULD REGRET, IS NOT DOING EVERYTHING I WANTED TO DO BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TOO WORRIED ABOUT PEO...PLE'S PERCEPTIONS." Do you want your emotions and behaviour to control the outcome of your life ? Too often we allow our emotions to get the better off us . Too often we give total control of who we are to peer pressure, to people's opinions , to people's perceptions, expectations, to society's one sided biases that we become like robots , being controlled ?. Why are we allowing them to dictate how we live, think , behave and BELIEVE. The most dangerous of these is our BELIEF SYSTEM. When we believe what the world is telling us , it embeds in our system, hence becoming a root that takes precedence in our lives. When we believe we are not good enough because we did not perform well academically, we do not have a big business, we do not have a great career or we are not financially stable , or we come from the wrong family , the wrong suburb , or postcode then we are just cloned to program to the inventors belief system. Why are we making ourselves unhappy because of pressure to be seen as successful or to pretend that we are hot shot just to fit in ? When we allow ourselves to be content , comfortable, accept, embrace and be grateful for who we are then we have done ourselves justice . We are not then pretending to be someone else , we are not adhering to preasure , we are not being fake. Hold onto our identities no matter what. Do not permit others to control our minds,our behaviour, our lives . Live and be proud of who we are . God created us in His precious image at the end of our lives we will be departing this world with nothing. Not our houses , not our fancy qualifications, not our fancy material possessions, not our fancy minds , lucky if we have a bloody fancy welcome....on the day of our judgment. Just watch Steve Jobs video on not living our lives according to other people. Let us not give control to others so they can control our minds and instill in us the belief that we are not good enough because we do not fit their status quo. I for one no longer permits or allow anyone to tell me that I have to think a certain way, especially who I should be seen with and keep company with , how to act accordingly, ( what I advocate for ) and how I should live. I see the goodness in everyone and it is not my job to be judgemental because only God can see what is in our hearts .With this new found attitude , I am confident in my own skin and never again will I hand over the control to anyone. The only thing I will conform to is God's will for my life. That is what matters the most , my identity in Christ. Posted above is a picture of my grand daughter Grace , her favourite character is Elsa and of course she loves the theme song " Let it go". I finally listened to it and I love the words. In her childlike innocent attitude, she believes she's a princess often cracking me up when I call her Gracie only to be corrected , no nana I'm a princess , I'm Elsa. She is not allowing me to mould her belief system . Children can teach us some very valuable lessons. If we can control our minds no one or nothing will ever bother us. We will live happy meaningful and purposeful lives. See more

12.01.2022 Jan 20, 2021 " WE CAN ALL CHANGE ,GROW AND LEAD IN SPITE OF CHALLENGES" What a rough beginning to another year of uncertainty yet again.... Still we must soldier on and do our part individually and collectively as community members, organisation members and as parents, grand parents or as leaders. We are each a leader in our own right, in our families, churches, communities or work environment. PELE Empowerment Facilitators Inc is also a leader in our community in the area of mental health and social support service for those whose lives might have hit obstacles, or spiralling out of control. We are only a young organisation, only since August 8, 2020 yet without funding, we still are doing our bit to contribute and show leadership initiative for those who need our help. We soldier on, Inspite of judgmental attitude from others and our own members personal shortcomings and challenges. " The worst injustice we can serve ourselves is by worrying too much about others perceptions." That would be our biggest regret. Whatever challenges and obstacles we might be facing right now , know you with God at the helm can be a leader, can be that change and can grow and transform your lives and those around you once you focus on the worthy person that you are.
