16.01.2022 Dear Guests (past, present and future) As you may have seen, we have begun the collecting for change scheme here at Pelican Shore Villas. By each Rubbish bin is a crate for you to place your items that qualify. In just é weeks, as of today, 20th November, guests have raised over $34 which we hope to get up to $50 by the end of the month. ... This month's funds will go to support our local Kangaroo rescue lady (Karen, aka Syrup) who has already given so much time and resource to helping our injured roos. Photos to follow :) If you are going to be here in December ... it may just be the day when a young Joey drops by with Karen to help us learn more about these amazing native beauties! We are working in conjunction with the local 'old bastards organisation' in supporting local people who make Kalbarri what it is - a piece of paradise! All leaflets and information are in your villa. Today, some of our guests did: Beach Quad Biking with Wagoe Quad Bikes who will even pick you up from the entrance to the villas! https://www.kalbarriquad.com/ Some others did the canoe safari ... https://www.kalbarriboathire.com/kalbarri-canoe-safaris... Some went for a dip and did some fishing at Lucky Bay and the Blue Holes Some went to do the 'Natures Window and Skywalk' - early in the morning (remember you need to take plenty of water with you when you go out in the national forrest!)
