23.01.2022 Kalbarri Skywalk! Open today! Looking over the railing with the Murchison River over 100m below, I have to say it really took my breath away! This will now bec...ome one of the most epic sights in Western Australia ...with beautiful contrasting light and colours at all times of the day, sunrise to sunset. But don’t take my word for it, get up there and check it out for yourself. If you’re a keen photographer like me who loves a road trip, but you’re a little strapped for time here’s my solution: Grab a few mates and hit the road at sunrise on a Friday or Saturday morning. Head up Indian Ocean Drive, stopping at some amazing Australia's Coral Coast locations such as the Pinnacles, Jurien Bay, the pink lake at Hutt Lagoon and onto Kalbarri for sunset at the coastal gorges or at the Skywalk itself. Stay the night, sample some delicious Kalbarri cuisine and make sure you’re out at the Skywalk before dawn to witness the most spectacular sunrise. Pack your camera, phone, or whatever just get out there!

11.01.2022 NATURES WINDOW RESCUE The Kalbarri SES has issued a warning for people heading to the National Park after a tourist collapsed from suspected heat exhaustion ea...rlier today. The tourist collapsed about 2.5km from the Natures Window carpark - where the temperature reached 50 degrees Firefighters, ambulance officers and park rangers also assisted in the rescue. Those heading to the National Park are urged to take water, wear a hat and cover up with loose clothing. It's also wise to head out early in the morning to avoid the hottest time of day.
