13.01.2022 A new pellet mill in Victoria makes the news. When we started selling pellets and pellet heaters 18 years ago in Tasmania we were told there was no future. Compared to the rest of the world Australia was far behind but now we are starting to catch up. This year pellet fuel became cheaper than retail firewood in most areas.

04.01.2022 13kw Wellington with WiFi installed into a very large fireplace. Looks good....

04.01.2022 Please be careful who you buy your fire wood from. Use a reputable wood supplier who is legal, wont cheat you and pays tax like the rest of us.

04.01.2022 Pellet length is important to all pellet heaters, not just the ones we sell. Pellets that are too short will feed too quickly and can cause startup problems and increased consumption. Pellets that are too long can jam in the auger and stop pellets feeding causing the fire to go out. The photo is an example we came across recently. If you come across a bag of pellets that have any pellets greater than 30 mm you should either break the long pellets up OR exchange them from where you purchased the pellets from. Please refer to the information in your heater operating manual regarding pellet quality and specifications and/or call Customer Service on 6272 0465.
