14.01.2022 Hello everyone I regret to inform you that following a Pemberton Arts Group (PAG) committee meeting yesterday afternoon, a decision was made to reschedule Sculpture in the Vines 2020 to 2021 and the Pemberton Art Prize 2020 to spring 2020 - all being well at that time. This decision is in response to advice from Arts and national and world health authorities, and in view of ramping up actions to decrease risk to vulnerable members of our local and wider communities. We belie...ve that PAG has a responsibility to protect artists, sponsors, visitors and our volunteers. The recommended social distancing, travel restrictions and limitations on public gatherings will impact negatively on our event and while we are very aware of the disappointment to all, it is imperative that we act according to the best interests of the Australian public. "GalleriesWest encourages all volunteer operated galleries to close to the public and all volunteer dependent programs in galleries with professional staff should be suspended." Artists who have already entered the Pemberton Art Prize can leave their entry details till spring. If this doesn't suit, then please contact me for an alternative arrangement.

07.01.2022 Artists from the South-west please not that our Annual Spring exhibition will go ahead. Entries already received remain valid. An updated entry form will be available soon. Sculptors please prepare for Sculpture in the Vines - autumn 2021.

07.01.2022 Exhibition at Pemberton Sports Club

06.01.2022 Happy Australia day to you all. The Pemberton CRC and Visitor Centre held the annual breakfast at the stunning Pemberton pool. Pemberton Arts Group (PAG) took on the challenge to recycle all the plastic plates, knives, forks and cups, to wash and use them in the art room - thus avoiding them ending up as landfill. Chairperson Anna Czerkasow said they would be cleaned and used as painting pallettes etc during art classes and courses. Great initiative Anna and team, let's see if we can do more recycling. Next year we will attempt to provide bins for food wastage that can be sent home to someone's chooks.
