These south west forests are now worth more standing thanks to the hard work of hundreds of beekeepers like Mikey Cernotta and forest-based tourism, which already supports thousands of local jobs in WA. Native forests help make rain and protecting them from logging is also an important climate solution that has the potential to prevent 40-60 million tonnes of CO2 from being emitted over 10-years. 09.01.2022 Shit is hitting the fan!!! How's the form of FPC! While we were told on Monday morning logging operations will start around our property by the end of this week, FPC have snuck in and carved a section of forest out of plans for a National Park which is facing imminent clearfell logging right now.... This, all from an organisation owned by our government, in a resource belonging to all West Australians, that takes away habitat for endangered species and runs at the expense of tourism and beekeeping industries. These are industries that do not take opportunity away from others AND generate significantly more economic benefits for our state and regions through jobs and growth. We are asking a lot from you at the moment we know, but please share and sign!
