25.01.2022 Great photos from last nights "Pink Up Penrith" paddle with #RichardFox and many other water craft on the wonderful Nepean River. Very proud of our Dragons Abreast Penrith ladies, what they stand for and what they have overcome #AidenWilliams photographer! #pinkuppenrith

24.01.2022 It's been nearly 6 months! Today Pendragons got back on the water at SIRC for training! After 30 minutes of cardio under the breezeway with also online attendees, and having to get a bit of water out of one of the boats, we had 2 boats on the water and a great training session. Coffee or course afterwards at Lakeside as it was open. Lots of happy and invigorated people! Still understand that many cannot join us due to their job roles or concerns and to keep everyone safe. When going to NRC later in the day to book some tables met Caraline and Elaine who were out on their single craft. Everyone is doing their best!

23.01.2022 What a morning! Unfortunately we couldn't get out on the water due to the high winds and gusts! Well done the the Cardio Crew (including MaryAnne online) who did really well with the new Cardio sets at the early session! After cancelling water training everyone hung around for some more Cardio and Technique! Thank you Janine for the Boxing Cardio and Ray for improving a Dragon Boat!!!

22.01.2022 Pendragons Cardio and Coffee session - on Saturday we changed it up again with adding some great shoulder and rotator cuff exercises with our Paddles that we can all do on our own and before any training session to warm up those very important areas! Bradford Press, Good Mornings, Shoulder Circles and Dislocates! This challenged our co-ordination a bit, although the picture was great! We had some laughs and everyone enjoyed! Next Saturday we are EOI on Team App and will trial some new ideas within the current restrictions being lifted. The key is that we all want to keep safe and well, and no-one will be left out!

22.01.2022 Annie Cuddles and Strongman Ken's flowers and teddy from Pendragons! Delivered 15 mins after they got into their new home!

22.01.2022 Message from Jan Caldwell! Dear Jane - what a wonderful surprise last Monday! Thank you, the Pendragons board, and all the members for their generosity and good wishes to me in this time of trial. I really love the cyclamen, both the flowers and the Pendragon purple colour, which grace our living room so beautifully. We now have Pendragons inside and outside our home. Could you share the photo with everyone for me please. I hope you’ll soon be full time back on the water, having many more wonderful experiences. Love to all, Jan.

20.01.2022 Virtual Racing results for Week 3: 6/10/20 - 12/10/20 - Well done!!!!

18.01.2022 Another great morning - Cardio first and then on the water in the single craft. No Zoom this week! THEN back to Rowers for our coffee and catch-up. Thank you all for a great morning!

18.01.2022 Great morning for a paddle!! Masks and all!

17.01.2022 Google header today!

14.01.2022 The weather was wet and cold but we had a great turn out for our first Dragon Boat training session after the COVID lockdown in late March! It was so fantastic to be in a Dragon Boat together again on the Nepean River ........ and as Ray mentioned - we've missed his voice as sweep! Lots of happy and joyous faces! Also to mention that we also did our Cardio session before which is becoming very well attended as we add new exercises to assist our paddling! Afterwards of course Coffee and Catch up at the Rowers!

12.01.2022 Cardio, Single Craft and Coffee this morning at NRC and some on Video for Cardio! How lucky were we with the weather! This morning went so well for our first trail since restrictions have been lifted to enable 2 groups at NRC for Cardio and Single Craft sessions. Observing all the guidelines of course! A very cheery and exited group of people, and for those who couldn't join in person, we had the Video call active so they could participate as well. Mind you we all missed... out on the home baking that Anne E took to Maryanne's! It was windy and I think everyone was a bit nervous being on the single craft most having not paddled for now 8 weeks! Nobody ended up in the water or the weir! See's Ray's handywork clearing the weeds! Afterwards we were able to have a takeway coffee at Emu Hall again respecting all guidelines and just have a good old chat! The guys on Video also had their chat together. Certainly feeling very happy today! Thank you to everyone for making this such a great morning! See more

12.01.2022 Great work by Gil and Dave (with Brenda and Pauline assisting) rigging the new Iakos (crafted in Queensland) ready to put back on our two OC6's!!!!!

12.01.2022 Flower for Jan C - Sunflower - beautiful, tall and strong! We are all thinking of you Jan.

08.01.2022 Pendragons are going so well with training and Come and Try!!! Let's keep up the attendance at training! Saturday Come and Try going really well with lots of repeats!

08.01.2022 On the water or off, Pendragaons always get up to something! A walk down to the Weir a week or so ago when the waters were high! They are high again this week! Paddling last weekend!

07.01.2022 A very cold and misty morning on the Nepean River for our Cardio and Single Craft paddling session! A good idea for the Cardio first for all, plus our On-Line people to see if the mist lifted during this time which it did! There was a bit of apathy given it was cold and damp and we could have got to a coffee earlier, but so glad we took the "plunge" (sorry 2 did! a bit later), got the boats out and got on the water! Great to see Elaine and thank you for bringing your craft... down. Some first time single craft paddlers, and some with not much experience so great that everyone again had a go! Pauline and Alan on the OC2 doing a warm up and then a "set" of 20 on 20 off! For me my first paddle since my arm fracture so I am a happy lady! Rose and Brenda took a tumble and ended up in some very cold and not so clean water. Rose had posted so glad she had her Vaikobi on! Great to have coffee afterwards with Kim, Caraline and Kerrie joining us and Jan G on the phone! Great morning everyone! See more
