10.01.2022 Tempranillo 2009 A pleasant, fruit-driven red with a Morello cherry primary fruit character typical of this variety; the wine has a subtle herbaceous character too. A mid weight wine with plenty of palate flavour suiting modern cuisine. Gently oaked in American barrels. Long finish and clean, soft aftertaste. Drink it now or put it down for a few years; although the fruit characters will be best in the young wine. Quaffs nicely. Partner with Mediterranean red meat dishes, roast turkey or game birds and duck.
