25.01.2022 Our compost is made on-site at our Main Ridge location using local Hay and manure. The compost is formed over three months with regular turning allowing for a nutrient-rich product. Importantly we have no added chemicals, ensuring that your vegies or plant are grown in a pure, clean manner. You will not find a more organic, chemically free compost in Melbourne. We can deliver to your home (at an additional cost) or come and pick it up in your trailer.

23.01.2022 Smoking BBQ Wood Chunks Our business services the wine and distillery industry and has for the past 40 years. Through our contacts, we can source and offer 2-kilogram bags of French Oak Smoking Wood Chunks at $45 a bag. These come pre-soaked in whiskey and give off a fantastic flavor. They provide steady smoke for a longer cook time and a more robust smoky flavor. Our particular favorite has been to use it with St Louis Style Short Ribs, but they add complement a lot of recip...es. We are a family run business and as such, are not spending on the packaging; consider us what Clean Skins are to the wine industry we are to the BBQ smoking industry. A number of brigades have been ca...lled out in recent days to residents burning off. We have had very little rain for the past 6 weeks so if a fire starts it will spread through the dry fuel quickly.... If you burn off and we get called then the police will also be called. If you see someone burning off please call 000 immediately.

We know the farming community around Victoria is a close-knit community and have already rallied around those in East Gippsland. However, the effect of the bushfires will be felt for many months to come and once the media loses focus the issues will remain. We are seeking... your support for the purchase of fodder and the shipment of this fodder to the drought and fire-ravaged areas of East Gippsland. Many of you have already asked what can be done and so by forming a small working party, we have already formalised a plan to get this fodder, where it is needed not only now but through the winter months. The headlines of today see an enormous response financially but our response will be targeted at those who are in most need where a personal relationship could be developed. These fires have not only brought properties to a standstill; with fences, stock and fodder all lost but also to the family home. If you wish to have liquid, we suggest filling the barrels with water soaking and expanding the wood before putting liquid in (we can assist if needed).

01.01.2022 This is locally produced compost from the Mornington Peninsula. We use only local grass hay and horse manure with no chemicals being used in our process. The compost is allowed to rest for 4 months which results in this organically rich, nutrient dense compost. Selling for $150 per cubic metre or $100 for a 6x4 trailer
