01.01.2022 To make more firewood available to our communities, three new temporary firewood collection areas have opened in Denver, Elphinstone and Pyrenees State Forest. ...Collection areas at Eyles Lane, Denver and Tunnel Hill Track, Elphinstone will be open until March 26. A collection area at Emery Track, Pyrenees State Forest is open until April 4 or until supplies are depleted. As our crews prepare the areas for planned burning, the removal of hazardous trees has given us the opportunity for additional firewood collection areas to be open to the community to make the most of the firewood collection season. Firewood collection areas maps can be found here: ffm.vic.gov.au/firewood Dunolly Fire Brigade
