22.01.2022 HORNETS TO ATTEND NYC Hunter Western Hornets are pleased to announce that we will be sending a full compliment of teams to the 2021 National Youth Champions...hips (NYC), which will be held on the Sunshine Coast from 29 September until 2 October 2021. Hornets have already sent information to all players who participated at Junior Regionals via their coaching staff, to offer them a position in our NYC teams. All players are asked to confirm their position for NYC by 31 May. Any players/parents who did not receive this information, please contact Hornets by email [email protected] to request this NYC information and player confirmation link. We strongly advise all players and their families to ensure that any travel or accommodation booked is done so with free cancellation and full refund options available, should the event not go ahead. 17.01.2022 We moved all the equipment today and test ran everything at Ettalong Diggers, will be a great temporary home with the caller on main stage and ticket selling ar...ea next to the main stage. Looking forward to tommorow night! A couple of things: 1. The best smoking area to use is the pokie room as only 8 can go out onto the other area on verandah during breaks. 2. Children are welcome to play, but must remain accompanied at all times, prizes will be given to accompanying adult. Children not to buy tickets and claim break open prizes, accompanying adult to do this. 3. Tables are set up in tables of 4 and some tables of 8, please dont rearrange furniture as it has been setup to comply with current restrictions. There is plenty of room and plenty of tables set up so everyone can spread out. 4. Doors will open to our room at 5pm, selling 6.30pm, start 7.30pm from tommorrow 15th September. 5. If you want to order dinner, please pre book so they can roster enough staff to meet demand. 6. Format and cost will be same as normal Saturday night, we will have Break Open tickets, however we will need to confirm prize money after selling finishes at 7.30pm as it is a separate session to the normal Saturday. 06.01.2022 Yay new Rules and Guidelines from NSW Health regarding community sport, while this doesn’t mean that we don’t remain vigilant, these relaxed restrictions are welcomed by us. This is direct from the NSW Government, Office of Sport - organised outdoor gatherings including community sport and recreation activities will be permitted to have up to 3,000 people, inclusive of people taking part in the activity, officials and spectators (subject to the one person per 2sqm rule). Whe...n visiting our fields you will still be required to sign in using the QR code on your arrival and you must stand 1.5 metres away from people not from your household.
