All beauty treatments are paused, for at least the next 6 weeks. 2. Remedial massage will continue. 3. Retail, including my online store, remains open. ... 4. Plus the new beautiful texture and firmness in the skin. 12.01.2022 A few weeks ago the Victorian Government confirmed that Remedial Massage is allowed to go ahead This was a relief for so many of my clients, as (for them), Remedial Massage is essential. These clients rely on Remedial Massage to reduce all levels of pain & to keep them moving more freely. Now I am fully booked for the next month Although I am busy (& am currently home schooling my 2 boys), I realise Remedial Massage is vital for so many of you. ... 08.01.2022 What todays announcement means for This Wellness Studio... The new announcement sounded very promising when I first heard... BUT, no real change for This Wellness Studio, when I read the small print. Although Beauty Therapy in general is now due to open at stage 3 (hopefully 26th October), facials are not included in this change - as face masks cannot be worn. So no real change for This Wellness Studio. ... So at this stage, facials are still due to recommence final stage (hopefully Nov 23rd). Although, Im hoping this announcement means all massage will be able to recommence at stage 3. No real word yet, but Ill let you know as soon as I do That being said, I am very excited for my beauty therapy friends who will now be able to offer waxing & nails etc at stage 3. 08.01.2022 Hi all! An update to let you know, the current information I have, regarding the new restrictions, & how I expect this to affect This Wellness Studio. Here is what I know at this point: - the new restrictions on businesses apply from 11.59pm this Wednesday night. - beauty services are paused for at least the next 6 weeks. ... - I must close by 7.30pm to allow clients to return home by curfew. - The 5k rule applies to travel for shopping & exercise (healthcare is exempt). - Online stores may continue. I am awaiting clarification regarding if Remedial Massage continues during this lockdown. I have already contacted all of my beauty/facial appointments & rescheduled. Dr Stephanie has received clarification, & will continue with Acupuncture. You may still access products via my online store. As soon as I have clarification regarding Remedial Massage, I will let you know. I am currently fully booked for a few weeks with Remedial Massage. Once I have clarification, I will text my currently booked clients, although this may take time If you dont hear from me before, you will receive a text at least the day prior to your scheduled appointment. Here is what I'm doing, to ensure best practice:- * I have completed the Australian government’s Covid-19 infection control course for Allied Health Professionals. I’m strictly following all protocols. * I am following the Covid-19 prevention health & safety recommendations from Massage & Myotherapy Australia. * I have completed my Covid Safe plan, & keep this onsite. * I am asking any clients who are unwell, have come into contact with anybody with Covid-19 or have just returned from overseas to kindly reschedule. * If I become unwell, or have come into contact with anybody with Covid-19, I will reschedule all of my appointments to a safe time. * As always, I only see one client at a time, with a 15 minute gap in between clients. To maintain social distancing (for now), please arrive at your appointment time & not earlier. * I am disinfecting treatment table, door knobs, pens, Ipad, EFT & surfaces between clients. *Clients will receive a reminder text with a link, to fill out a Covid-safe online form, prior to their arrival. * You will notice there are no magazines, herbal tea or glasses & jug for drinking water available for the time being. * I have provided hand sanitizer for your use, upon arrival & departure at the reception desk.
