15.01.2022 Peer support happens when people work together, or support each other, from their lived experience. FPMBA won this years AMBA Appreciation Award in the Local team category as our committee exemplifies how working together can achieve fantastic results which in our case is an ever growing membership of families who feel supported through the unique challenge of welcoming multiple babies. Thanks to our volunteers and congratulations! For more information about the awards see www.amba.org.au/organisation/people/aaa#local-award

15.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY - checkout this fabulous find, an article about our club from 1983! This is just two years after our club was formed by some local mums of multiples who were looking for companionship and sharing of experiences with other mothers of multiple children. Next year is an exciting year for our club with our 40th Anniversary - let's hope COVID doesn't wreak havoc on our celebration plans! #TBT #twins #triplets #history

08.01.2022 This is a lovely quote to keep in mind during those challenging hours and days. Thank you to Life's Little Treasures Foundation for the support you give families of premature babies.

08.01.2022 Today is World Prematurity Day. It is a day dedicated to raising awareness of the babies born too early and the health challenges they may face as they grow up. Preterm birth is considerably more frequent in multiple births compared to singleton pregnancies, occurring in over 50% of all twin births and almost 100% of higher order multiple births. We invite you to share your story below, to raise awareness of how prematurity impacts the multiple birth community.
