19.01.2022 Hi all, Just a reminder on Sunday for those that are travelling to Mt Coolum the sunshine motorway is closed for the ironman they have up there so you will need to come in the back way.

18.01.2022 Just a reminder that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 13 December after the round at Redcliffe. Financial members will be able to enjoy a burger and drink as well. Any visitors who wish to enjoy the burger and drink also will need to pay $15. Hope to see everyone there and hopefully next year things will be business as usual.

13.01.2022 Beerwah is open and carts are on for most of the course. There are a couple of holes where you will need to stick to the cart path, but the course has dried out well over the last couple of days. Please also note that our tee of time is from 6:00am and you should be there 30 minutes prior to your tee off time. See you all tomorrow! Cuey

13.01.2022 2nd round of the club championships today

11.01.2022 Hi Members, Just to keep you all updated beerwah golf course at present is closed due to the wet weather. Groups will still be posted on Friday but the club will not be told until Saturday whether the course will open or not and if carts are allowed on the course for those that have booked them. I will update you on here as soon as we find out any further information

Steve Johnson beat Tobin Hillier 2&1 Mark Roxburgh beat Chris Wright 1up B Grade: David Robertson beat Pat Ingram 2 up Rodney Dadson beat Glen Kirkwood 6&4 Grade finals will be played on the 27th (next round) at Wantima golf club. Congratulations to all and see you next round.

04.01.2022 Round 2 of the 4BBB this Sunday at Woodford. Please help those teeing off early at the 1st Tee as it's near impossible to see the ball withthe sun in their eyes. Good luck all - hit some fairways.... ................................. Golfer turns to his caddy and asks: Why do you keep looking at your watch? It's very distracting. Caddy replies: It's not a watch sir, its a compass.

04.01.2022 Hi all, Just an update on this weekends game at Redcliffe which is sponsored by madden plumbing (thanks darryl) we will be doing a presentation after the round in the clubhouse masks will need to be worn when entering the clubhouse or going to the bar for food or drinks but while you are seated you are allowed to remove it. So if you intend to stay back after the game for a drink and the presentation please make sure you bring a mask with you or you will not be allowed to ent...er. The game this week will be single stableford and the draw should be up on the website tomorrow. We will have a full field of 44 players on Sunday so please make sure you are there half an hour before your tee time to make the day run a bit more smoothly. Thanks and see you all on Sunday.

04.01.2022 Hi all, Just letting you know the next round at birkdale will be a 2ball Ambrose event with select partners. When you register let me know who you want to play with or I can allocate you someone when I do the draw.... The next 4 rounds will be partner/group events and I will have the website updated in the coming days with the rest of games and what they will be.

03.01.2022 Hi all, Just an update on the club championship result from today at bribie island. After a tough tussle all day and late fight back from Rodney who was 4 down with 5 to play but Mark prevailed in the end 2&1 to become the 2020 club champion.

02.01.2022 Hi all, Just a few updates for you all please see below. 1. Congratulations to Rodney and Robert Dadson for winning our 4bbb championship this year.... 2. The game scheduled for Nudgee good club on the 27th September has been changed to Wantima golf club as Nudgee are still not accepting visitors. Tee off will at 6.05 of the 10th. This will also be our second round of the club championships. 3. Due to the COVID restrictions this year and the club not being able to do our usual fundraising (lucky numbers etc) the committee has decided that we will not be doing an end of year dinner/trophy night but we will be trying to organise something for the last game of the year at Redcliffe hopefully with a lunch and trophy presentations to coincide with the AGM. I will get the website updated with the above information ASAP and to all playing at Mt Coolum on Sunday see you there. Kind regards Mark
