The lovely duo provide some welcome conversation and pet therapy to both residents and staff alike, wit Bailey never shying away from the opportunity for a cuddle! Last week Wellington and Primrose were the stars of the show on Melbourne Cup day, ensuring no-one missed the chance for a visit as they roamed both the outdoor and inside areas.... Their visit evoked memories of growing up on the farm, milk being delivered by horse and cart, and riding to school

This year's theme, Always Was, Always Will Be. recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years. Peninsula Villages was proud to recognise this important week

01.01.2022 Volunteer Spotlight - Gary Gilday Gary has been involved with music all his life, from learning to ballroom dance and playing a brass instrument in the marching band, to singing in the NSW Police Choir where they'd attend various aged care facilities and entertain the residents. He started in Community Radio in 2000 at a station called Radio Yesteryear and moved to Radio Five-O Plus (93.3 FM) in 2004 where he was an on-air announcer playing... music until his retirement in 2020. He has been married to Maree for 49 years and has two sons, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He currently works as a Consultant in a Financial Planning business looking after compliance.
